So on the valentines banner I just pulled a -atk +def Hector. I know the -atk sucks a bit but is he still okay to use? Should I try to pull for another one?
If you're interested on spending more orbs on this new banner, sure, you could try pulling for another one, but that one is not bad. Still 51 attack and built-in Wrath in his weapon, so plenty of damage anyway, and sky high defense, 43. I'd say use him and if you want to pull greens for Lilina or another Hector and you get a better IV one, use the one you got now as DC fodder or merge.

While -atk does hurt his damage a bit, the +def combined with Ignis will cover most of the lost damage. If you run him on an armor emblem team or a team with Atk/Def Tactic, you can help patch up his attack stack.
Even with -atk he only has 1 attack point less than regular Hector.
If you have the confidence(and orbs) for it you can use him til you pull another.
Mine was -atk +Spd so I know how that feels.
