Are Defiant skills forever useless now ?

I thought of this a while ago, but even more recently; since the arrival of Brazen Skills, Defiant Skills just don't have anything going for them, do they ?
An harder-to-activate threshold, can buff only one stat, with one less point than a Brazen, and subject to the panic effect. Availability is a pro, sure, but it's not like Brazens are hard to get either so, is it still useful for some people ?

Not unless they revamp them so,ehow, but even that would be weird because they are so much like ooor versions of brazen.

But, the only difference is defiant adds blue buff, brazen is invisible

Defiant skills are essentially useless. Sure, you could make use of it, but you're pretty much shooting yourself in the foot because of how not great it is, not to mention being heavily outclassed by Brazen skills.

Unless Defiant 4 raises the bar to 75% HP and even then I probably wouldn't use them unless they boosted 2 stats at stage 4. But we haven't seen any other skill hit stage 4, so who knows when that'll happen or what hit stage 4.

The only character i can think of using defiant skills somewhat would be L!marth thanks to his ability of doubling visable blue buffs on himself from 7 to 14, but still 50% hp aint worth it unless he can take a hit in enemy phase to get TO 50% so he can use said buff...
