Is Arden More of a Threat an Zephiel in Arena Defense?

So I have my Arden just about complete and my Zephiel has been done for quite some time, however I don't want 3 red armor units on my armor team (I already have Black Knight solidified), which one would be more of a threat when facing them in an arena match?

Here are their builds:

Answers

The answer is that it's complicated. It really depends on your team comp and factors you can't control in Arena Defense... Like which team you're up against.

It's bit hard yeah, depend a lot on your C slot for your team.
I think Arden is way better controlled by the player but with deflect magic 3 he might still be annoying in arena def.
It's really hard to know, the best is to test it out and see what works :)

As cute as the persuit ring and quadmemes are, i still think arden really wants wary figther to not be torn to shreds by ANY kind of mage.
On zephs side, i don't think he's that good without distant counter, so i think i would go with arden.

I know I did ask for advice, but I could beg to differ. If you give Arden wary fighter he becomes worse than Zephiel, sure he has higher defense but he has way lower res than him. It doesn't matter if he has Wary Fighter, he'll fall under the percentages requirement in one turn (unlike Zephiel since his res isn's horrid).
Arden would do better as in his survival factor with deflect magic in my opinion, so he still has that quad option and not be obliterated by mages the instant he sees them.

In Zephiel's defense I would argue that he doesn't need distant counter to be effective. Focusing on his defense stat via earth boost/fortress def(or res) can make him a wall that nobody can take out in just one turn. My Zephiel can shoot up to 30 res and 51 defense and nobody can take him out, he murders them with ignis or bonfire.
