Apologies for the Hundredth Grima Question

Sorry. I know there have been sooo many Grima build questions. Just checking to see what people have decided on for his A-slot. Most of the site builds point to the 2 breaths or Fury. I'm not sure I really want to fodder my last spare Brave Ike just yet, and have only 1 Fury fodder available.

Buuuut I was hoping to keep Armored Boots on Grima for a bit while I use him in a mixed arena team. So anyone else have a good A-slot idea? Or should I just suck it up and give him Fury or breath?

i would say sivilian shield i dont know if i spelled that right to negate thani and slayer weapons or TA to reduce blue damage mostly for mages cause they still do a lot without TA so they can do less with TA

I went Close Defense and combined with a Distant Defense seal to bulk up, but I have Armor March next to him.

I don't think breath is worth it unless you're also going to replace Vengeful Fighter with Bold Fighter. Otherwise your breath is just +4 defense until you're under 50%hp.

More like otherwise your Vengeful Fighter is just a better Quick Riposte, since Breath skills give +1 charge during enemy phase, both when being hit and when countering.

This is how I built my Grima (I'm a minnow, I just got REALLY lucky). At +10, he'll have 39 defenses and more than enough ATK to make Vengeful Fighter quite a lethal threat against all but the absolute bulkiest. And that's before Hone/Fortify Dragons, as I plan to use him with Adult Tiki, Ninian (if I get her), and an undecided fourth Dragon. Probably Myrrh.

brazen res/def 3 is reeeeeally good. imo steady/warding breath isnt necessary, plus you also need bold fighter or else theres no point
