anyone feel this way?

ever felt like units u really want have medicore/bad ivs? and all the pity broken/ unwanted units gets like near perfect ivs?
its not all the time but looking back at all my units. i have more unwanted heroes that i use due to having great ivs and all my wanted heroes(seasonals/favorites) with barely salvagable ivs

Most, if not all, my 5-star units that I pulled have crap IVs. The only 5-star with optimal IV I remembered receiving was Ephraim (+Atk, -Spd)

I got pretty lucky with my 5* units. Ayra (+Atk - Res), Grima (M) (+Atk -Spd), B! Lyn (+Atk -Def) and WF Hinoka (+Atk -HP)

Well i'm not lukiest in the world but i got nice iv's for most of my 5*, excluding Ayra (+res -spd) but she still viable, so i have no complaints. Dorkas is another honorable mention tho, (-atk +spd), Hector (-def +spd) but most of my 5* have decent ivs. I will never forget my +hp -spd Nino, worst promotion ever.

Can relate to some extent. My 4 last 5* have been +Res -spd Leif, +Def -Spd Sigurd, +Res -HP Ayra and +Res -spd Eldigan. At least Ayra has her neutral offensive stats untouched, Sigurd doesn’t mind the -spd that much and Eldigan can always forget about speed with QR. But man, Leif... that’s just unfortunate.

On the other hand I’ve gotten some other 5* with perfect IVs like the Dorcas I got on the legendary banner with +Def -spd, and the WE Chrom I got months ago has +hp -spd, for example. But as for the rest of the 5* exclusive units I’ve gotten I can tell their IVs are pretty meh. Some of them don’t even care about those, but let’s say I also wanted different IV sets myself.

But I say, just do what you can best with them, and if it’s not necessary to build up the ones with mediocre/bad IV’s, then save em for later or so

Most of them yes. Before I knew about IVs, I used my Ryoma alot, then figured out it was +Spd -Res, and he is still does his job when I use him. Then after that, I got great to perfect IVs with Sigurd (+Atk -Res), Celica (+Atk -Def), my second Brave Lyn (+Spd -Hp), Micaiah(+Spd-Res and +Atk -Def, merged the +Spd to +Atk), a second Siegbert (+Spd -Hp), M!Grima (+Def -Spd).

I think for me it's the other way around, with the units I want having so-so IV's and the ones I don't really care for having mediocre ones. The last 5 star units that I really wanted were OG Azura, LA!Lyn, and Sonya, of which all had +Def/-Res IV's. But from free summons and one-and-done summoning sessions I've gotten WT!Olwen, Olwen, and Soleil, all of whom had -Atk IV's, which doesn't really bother me because I spent next to nothing to acquire them.
