Anyone else think GHBs are starting to be ridiculous in difficulty?

Especially in regards to reinforcements, they’re such bullshit and most times they aren’t even fair

I enjoyed the difficulty. I get that the reward probably doesn’t fit the effort required to beat it, but I’d love more infernal battles that were hard like this with maybe 2-4 orbs as a rewards.

True but it's somewhat ok if you can't just do them on inferno without having a somewhat perfect roster. I'm ok with getting the unit via lunatic and waiting for the GHB to return once I'm stronger.

If you're talking in regards to Takumi's at the moment, I think it was supposed to be really difficult because from what I know it's supposed to emulate the final chapter in Conquest, which I've heard was absolutely absurd in regards to difficulty.

I do think it's very difficult, but i beat it earlier (infernal) with f2p brave lyn and 3 dancers only. U can do it too :)

No.

This game needs the extreme difficulty to stay interesting. I'm F2P and love the challenge.

Being forced to use armored/flier teams for past GHB's through the missions is amazing, too.

Could not agree more.
If you play this game long enough, practically everything becomes a cake walk since you will inevitably have either super duper strong units or units with amazing synergistic skills, (or usually) both at the same time. Making some maps THIS difficult is a lot of fun as it forces you to think outside the box and not just brute force everything like every other current game mode.

I agree, it plays up the puzzle aspect of it nicely. I enjoy how cleverly constructed the board are. For example, in this GHB on the right side there is a strong temptation to use a red triangle raven as an opening move, which works well - but if you do so you get dazzling gravity’d by the staff user and get trapped by the blue Calvary, who has advantage over you.

Shit like that makes you appreciate the level design

It's fun. I can clear any map with my Dorcas, Nephenee+4, Celica+1, and Axura. They're tough, but I always find a way. It's a fun challenge for me.

It does make it rather difficult for newcomers or people without the proper units to finish and gain these extra copies, however I always find the challenge quite satisfying and necessary.
There's really no huge downside to waiting the GHB out for people who can't finish all of it straight away and the harder difficulty makes it much more enjoyable for the people who can.

For me, I actually found Taco's Infernal GHB to be quite ridiculously hard. The double Skadi, constant reinforcements of inflated units, and the narrow but long map design built specifically for our Pinapple makes it an absolute nightmare to get through. Upon finally completing it however, it gave me the same feeling of satisfaction as when I finished Chapter 10 on Lunatic Conquest. Using a team of Felicia + 3 Dancers, trying to make every turn count, adjusting my skills and strategies, failing the map by literally 1 damage, and finally completing it through what actually felt like strategy, which is something I often find missing in this game between all the time I spend dressing up my waifus and husbandos with pretty skills.

It took me quite a few tries to get this one, and I do think the hero reward was not worth the difficulty of the mission. I don't mind harder missions IF the reward is on the same level, which in this case, I don't think it is. His stats make him slightly better at tanking magic, he lacks Close Counter, and his weapon's effect is very gimmicky.
