I am so disappointed to see Gleipnir on the princess of Renais instead of the royal mage of Grado and the right hand of the crown prince Lyon. Is Knoll's fanbase really so small that he is not gonna be seen in the game this year?
I might be able to accept this Eirika if there was some sort of love sotry telling how Lyon taught magic to Eirika and trusted the sacred relic of Grado on her hands but Eirika's remake is going to be just another common hero? Not a TT reward unit? Not seasonal or celebration unit? Just a common unit with no backstory and which you can come across anytime? So little respect for Grado's relic and the royal mage whom I expected to carry it.
I am so glad I didn't give Eirika's CYL vote yet. She already got her remake. The vote is going to Knoll for sure... and maybe some other votes among it.
I am fine with these redos on units as long as they make sense. I guess this is a way for IS to give us units with their alternate weapons or promotions. I have never played Sacred Stones so I wouldn't know why Eirika wields a tome. She looks really cool so I don't really mind.
If only it was her alternative weapon but it is not. I'm ok with L'Arachel as blue mage with Ivaldi since that IS her alternative, although she is better known as staff user with Latona. Eirika however was never able to wield any type of magic and the tome she is using is exclusive S rank dark tome belonging to the enemy nation.
