She is the third one I +10'd, but I had a Nowi merge project started way before this one. (I guess Nowi will forever be stuck at +7.)

I'm still debating whether or not I should continue pulling on the Fighter Banner for Bold Fighter. I had a different build planned for Effie involving Wary Fighter and Distant Counter, but since the opportunity is still here, I can try and get Hardin. Though, Effie might pity-break me if I do so, and I don't really need her for fodder. >.<

Right, your other 2 are Hana (as a captain a few weeks ago) and Nino (in that screen cap you posted of Alfonse damage)? That's great, now you just need a colorless project to complete the circle

That's a tough one.. you could get spooked by an extra Effie.. but that Bold Ball Buster 3 would be so good to have on her... what is your orb count? Its definitely a double down bet but worth it if you're willing to risk it. Or if you want to play it safe, just wait till he pops up on a later banner without sharing the color.. but there's pity breakers too.... i dunno man....

Currently sitting at 5 orbs. I did spend earlier on that banner for a chance of either Effie or Hardin, and that's how I ended up with the final merge to +10 her.

Also, I know I could spend money, but I decided (when the game first came out) to play without spending a dime and seeing how much progress I can make with what the game gives me. Maybe if I ever decide to make an alt account, I would consider spending there, but I'm so proud at what I was able to do on this account that I rather keep it this way.

I don't know. I might just stop pulling because I think Distant Counter is going to be more important for the Effie build I had in mind than Bold Fighter is, and I don't want Effie pity-breakers anymore, but it can never hurt to have more options--especially one as powerful as BF.
