Analysis of the applications of the distance def seal

The Seal F.orge system has unlocked a new type of build for tanks. The combination of the close def a-skill and distant def sacred seal guaruntees +6 to def and res NO MATTER WHAT. This is a huge buff for balanced tanks like Young Tiki and Sheena. Sheena for instance, gains def 42 and res 39, stats that rival even specialized tanks like draug and Julia. This also means that they don't have to use Fury to supplement their balanced stats and can instead focus on pure tanking.

Distant def also provides the oppurtunity to stack with the a-skillversion of it. This can patch up the weak res stat of the many redlords weilding distant counter weopons. For example Ryomahas base 33 res when attacked by mages. Allowing him to punish harshly while taking minimal damage.

Another application of this seal is use on the mage nukes that like to abuse LnD. THe seal will patch up their defensive nerfs, allosing them to more safely get below the desparation hp requirement

The idea of mixing the Distant Defense 3 Seal and the Close Defense 3 A slot skill is lovely....except for Summer Tiki being the *only* unit that offers the skill and a lot of people never pulled a copy of her half naked ass.

It can really create some insanely strong hybrid type tanks, especially out of the dragons with Lightning Breath for sure, but the main weakness is availability. Even if we got a Close Defense Seal (which I'm surprised we cant forge since the Distant exists and we can forge the missing Spur seals), Distant Defense itself sits on a 5-star exclusive unit with Celica unfortunately.

It's one of those cool build ideas that can only really work for whales right now like Def Ploy fliers (or eliwood) because IS left really cool new skills on 5-star exclusives or seasonal units only...that's getting really annoying lately...

TA actually got a huge buff thx to distance def seal some heroes reach now the magic number of ~30 def/res arround and reduse thx to that the dmg vs their counter color to arround 3 vs 50atk Heroes.

Tanks like you said already above reach insane numbers lets say one i like most example Sheena +res has 36 def/res with both 48/48 what is actually the nuts because we can still incrase that with Ward Armor.
