Amelia and Aether

Would a neutral +1 merged Amelia benefit from having Aether? I have a spare 4-star Chrom that I can raise, promote, then fodder off. Her Sacred Cowl is nice to have, but it's not doing me much use save for shielding her from red mages with Ward Armor support from Black Knight and Winter Tharja.

There are other candidates though, like the Winter Tharja I just mentioned that is +3 merged and HP+/Spd- or my Winter Chrom that is Atk+/Res-.
