Am I the only one who noticed?

My original plan was to pick Lyn and then not have to summon for her. I thought I had to summon the free 5 star unit first, but when I logged on I found that it is it's own separate summon banner. Ergo, I am summoning from the normal new banner first and then I am going to pick whoever I don't get from the free summon. I mean, it'd be worse to have two Lynians than, say, Lyn and Ike. Also, it has ~ instead of an end date, though I'm a bit skeptical of that.

I think its a fine idea. No idea about the expiration date though. I personally just choose Lyn and gunned for Ike. It was worth it for me though since I actually got Ike, and Olwen and a +Spd -Def Linde

To be honest, I really wish I had thought of that that before I rushed in to get Lyn that I really wanted...

As for the ~ instead of an end date, it does seem that it will stick around until you summon from it but I wouldn't risk it. Pick what you want right before the main banner ends to be safe.

Yeah, that was my plan. So far I have +SPD -ATK Roy (honestly don't care about the -atk, with L&D he still has massive attack and more bulk than my other L&D units) so my plan's working out so far and I know I don't have to roll for him.

After I found out they were permanent I think my choice straight up went to Lyn, although I'm also waiting, I think I've made up my mind.

You can never get enough Brave Lyns, Swift Sparrows, or Attack Smokes.

I'm just waiting in case I don't get one I want with a passable IV by the end of the banner.

I thought about it but still and went for lyn anyways because the reason is simple, first I wanted to avoid colorless hell and second, most colorless units don't even make for good SI fodder (except for like Klein). At least in red / blue / green, I can get SI fodder for fury (always welcome), desperation (again, always welcome), hone / fortify cavalry (for horse emblem), useful assists skills such as reposition (Barst, Selena), and special skills such as draconic aura, glacies, bonfire, etc. etc. (you get the idea).
