Alm's Renewal

So Alm's refinement is amazing when he's at 100% HP but he takes 5 damage after combat. My Alm is -Spd so running Windspeed isn't optimal so I went for what other builds went for which was Renewal 3.
However wouldn't Renewal 2 be better?
Lets say Alm only takes damage from the refinement. With Renewal 3 he
would get 20 HP every 2nd turn.
1st turn 20+
2nd turn 0+
3rd turn 20+
But with Renewal 2 it would go like this.
1st turn 20+
2nd turn 0+
3rd turn 10+
4th turn 10+
Isn't this way better?

if alm doesnt get hit back renewal 2 is better for the short run.and u only get 20+ on tempest trials or maps u continue with ur team. on the long run however where u face multiple. renewal 3 is better for example the new robin map. on turn 1 nothing turn 2 nothing and by turn 3 u prob lost more then 10 hp if ur running fury3 as well. turn 3 u will only heal 10 and 10 the round after then another nothing where as rewnewal 3 gives u 20 on round 3 non on round 4 but 20 again round 5 and repeats. with renewal 3 u can even run reciprocal aid better by giving away alot of hp on turns u dont heal and getting it all back the turn after. with rewnewal 2 u would have to run ardent sacrifice meaning u have to be full hp to give ardent so u can heal back next turn to be full hp to use his effect again

but renewal 2 is better for short battles or battles where he kills them without retaliation. since urs is spd- u prob will run death blow. meaning u have to bank on killing them to ensure renewal works better. cos if u lose more then 10 hp u have to wait 2 turns just to get back to full health unless with a healer then renewal seems pointless. where as double renewal will give u 20 every other turn
