Yup, that is still bench warmer material. And this isn't even with a perfect build.

That's kind of an unfair comparison, to be fair. Ayra is one of the best sword units in game, not to mention the one you're showing is 5* +10.

Playing Devil's Advocate here, but try showing a unit that isn't super powerful for no apparent reason, like Ayra. :P

That alfonse has a tempest trial stat boost.

Edit: I think it's an fair comparison for someone attempting to display how powerful their unit is.

Uh... okay? That kinda just proves my point even more so. Comparing an Alfonse to an Ayra is still unfair in practically every way.

Comparing extreme powercreep to an unchanged free basic dude who's been in since day 1, not really a fair comparison. Not every sword build for a generally ignored character needs to have a +10 ayra picture stapled in the comments, everyone knows she's good. That Alphonse is perfectly respectable, especially if someone doesn't have a +10 ayra sitting around.

It's not that Alfonse is the worst red sword unit in FEH, it's that he's uber expensive to build, he can't get merges, doesn't have IVs, and is generally a boring character.

Sharena and Anna are much better since there main weapon isn't utter garbage, fill a role that isn't just "hit things until they die" and are much more interesting... Although that last bit isn't saying much considering...
