Those of you who play Alfonse, what B-skill do you use (and A-skill, if not brazen) and what's your strategy for getting him into the HP threshold?
I'm thinking of swordbreaker; the other ideas I've heard are BA and vantage. I'm looking for ideas here.

A) Brazen Atk/def
B) Vantage
C) drive/double spur, smoke skill
SS) Deflect Melee
The idea is to player phase.
Hit first, then the enemy attack twice (deflect melee activate).
In enemy phase vantage and the special activate to kill the enemy.
Whether he wants to go player phase or enemy phase, Alfonse really shines with more atk and def. Vantage or Quick Riposte works well in enemy phase, the latter allows him to double any melee unit attacking him. If you want him to be a dedicated green check, Axebreaker is good also. Otherwise Swordbreaker is great to initiate vs other sword lords and he can usually one round them with his high atk. Regardless, all of these sets can make good use of Brazen Atk/Def.
