After combat damage question

So, with the upcoming release of new and improved Staves I was planning to build a tank/healer with a combo of Pain+, Poison Strike and Savage Blow 3. I'm hoping Pain+ follows the formula of how they upgraded Fear to Fear+, making it not only target the unit attacked but also into an AOE.

So whether they go that route remains to be seen, but my question was whether weapons such as Deathly Dagger and Pain stack with Poison Strike. I have never used either, since I don't have Jaffar and the one person I've used Poison Strike on is Faye. Can anybody confirm this?

EDIT; Turns out you can't give staff users Poison Strike. (Thanks for letting me know.) Oh well, I thought. I'll just go with my backup plan of Pain + Windsweep + Savage Blow. Aaaaaaand... it turns out you can't give staves the sweep skills either. Dangnabit IS.

Yes, they do. All forms of effect damage stack. A wicked combo would be using Pain and Poison strike on a Fury wielder. 26 points of effect damage.

Staff users can't inherit poison strike or fury though :(

Healers CAN'T use poison strike. They CAN however use savage blow. So pain can not stack with poison strike. Deathly dagger does stack with poison strike (10+7 DMG) and Jaffar can also use savage blow. If healers would gain access to poison strike it would most probably stack.

I know right? Here is my Genny build, she'll have 38/45/41/27/40 once the 8% banner rolls around and I can +10 her. I can't wait for the staff+ updates!
