Just wondering will aether raid going to be like arena or will it be a pvp battle?

Aether Raid is like a... Less stressful Arena, at least that's what most of us are assuming.

Yup, this was my thoughts too when i 1st saw it, since there was wifi battle ( if i recalled correctly ), that is why i am worried it is going to be a PvP mode

If there's less stress, I think it will be due to less frustration due to less scoring nonsense. This mode looks much harder from what I've read so far in the datamine, and every battle counts, and if you really want to compete hard it takes much more work because you'll need defense wins.

It would be very complicate to implement actual PvP in this game. There would be plenty of unwinnable, ridiculous situations where a match would end with just one unit at each side, one running from the other. They could fix this making 10-turn battles or so, but then how do you decide who goes first at the start of the battle? Then again, they could somewhat fix this making that every match consists of two battles, with each player starting one, but at that point the battle would need to be decided by points, which would make battles more tactical (which might sound good, but in a mobile game, you want battles to be fast) thus they would be favorable for the player who gets the last turn and more importantly- unfavorable for the slow moving units that are paying for IS' new base at the Bahamas.
