I free pulled a -atk Chrom some time back, and just last night pulled my first Grima. He is +atk/-def. He's using his native Ignis, even with his -def. I also have been using Wary Fighter Elfie. Who would get more mileage out of it? Aether on Elfie would be good for keeping her in Wary Fighter range (same build I use for Winter Chrom) but Grima takes more damage with Vengeful Fighter so Aether might actually help him more. Anyone using Aether on Grima who can say whether it's worth it?
I would say Grima. Effie doesn’t charge up her special quick enough, and imo Aether really shines best on mixed bulk units. Sure it’s good everywhere, but Grima’s Vengeful Fighter just works so well with it naturally. Cool down reduction, double hits, and then Aether keeps Vengeful up and running.
Yeah I really love it on my W!Chrom, but I use it with Heavy Blade seal and she wouldn't be able to use it as well with only one of those seals. She is using Berkut's Lance though, so she's actually got a lot better mixed bulk than my Grima (36/34 to his 32/27). But I think Vengeful Fighter wins out for this one, thanks.
