Aether cost....

so Aether cost is calculated by ceil(1% of your score + 9) ?
IS will need to use some other formula for this calculation, imagine being in tier 11 next month, with 11k points, that is 119 aether to play a match, which means waiting 3 days for a single match excluding the free daily one ?

4000 lift to be in tier 11. So 50-55 aether per raid. Makes me think that the fountain becomes upgradable soon.

I suspect that this design was intentional. They might want it to be possible to lose as much lift on defense as you gain on offense, or close. Something like if you win all your raids for 100 lift a battle and lose 8 times on defense in a week for 80 lift a match, you won't be able to move up a tier. Hard to imagine though...700 lift minus 480 = 220, and the initial refill at the beginning of the week should be enough for at least two matches, nevermind daily refills

yeah, I thought about it too.
they might want the defensive part to be as important as offense.
as you said, losing defensive match will cost 80lift, without stamina consumtion, assuming perfect play, we will get 700 lift, minus 640 lift from losing, it only increases 60 lift a week.
now if you count the 2-3 days for a match, then you can only have like 260 lift, which is not enough for a tier.
I am not sure how winning a defense would impact your lift though.

now looking at tier 11, starting at 4000 lift, which cost 49 aether.
assuming perfect play, free match 700 lift, a match a day 700 lift, breaking aether pots grants you 154 aether at the end of the week, so let's say another 2 match, because the aether will keep increasing, so 200 lift, in total 1600 lift.
Now, here's the important part, if you lose all your defense, which means -640 lift, would that mean you will stuck forever in tier 11 ?

Ah yes, I miscalculated. 8 x 80 = 640 ≠ 480.

But the initial fill at the start of the season along with breaking pots should be good for st least two matches, which puts a player at +260. Daily refills will grant 6 x 50 = 300, so that should be good for at least 6 matches along with breaking aether pots, which gets a player to +860, which actually promotes two tiers. Your calculations actually suggest a similar conclusion. So I think a lot of players will be able to achieve T13.

At that level it's 58 aether a raid, which starts to get into territory where daily refill + breaking enemy pots might or might not be enough for one aether-consuming raid a day. So if a player loses 640 on defense, I think he/she gets stuck in, like, T16-17ish? But by that time we probably upgrade our fountains, so the limit will increase to T19ish.

Assuming 50 aether refill per day, you only have to wait 1 day if you destroy the aether resources. At tier 11 you get 11 aether back. So, 22 in 2 days plus 100 from the refills = 122.

But I'm almost sure that you will be able to upgrade the fountain and earn more than 50 aether per day.

so the aether we got from breaking those fountain is equivalent to the tier levels ?

oh that's a good point.
upgraded fountain and pots might made us play once a day at least excluding the free daily one.
