Advices to reach rg 20 without merges

Hi everyone, I'm stuck to rg 18-19 doing 684-686 max scores and I need your knowledge and advices to hit the 688-690 score someday

So I was wondering if my -spd+res effie was worth promoting to 5 stars to increase my arena score thanks to high BST (I was only using blue mages and dancers) and easy access to strong lvl 3 skills. I know arena points factors are mainly BST and SP cost skills
I want to build a 3 hero core that can take out most of arena threats.
It would be like :

yTiki (-atk +res) *dedicated hector crusher and can take out nino julia and archers fairly well*

Lighting Breath +
Repostion
Moonbow

TA2 or Fury 2 (never got lucky with hinatas)
QR2
Hone spd 3 (wonder which C skill would suit better)
Hp+3 (I heard it increases BST)

Effie (-spd +res) *can basically tank anything and kill anything back not named hector*

Brave Lance (not +)
Swap
Bonfire

Death Blow 3
Wary Fighter 3
Threaten def 3
Hp+3

Sonya (-hp +res) *dedicated reinhardt killer and green nuke* (I also have julia but -spd +hp, she can't reliably kill reinhardt and blue mages)

Draw Back
Moonbow

Fury 3
G tomebreaker 3
Res ploy 3
Quickened Pulse

So first, I was wondering if not taking a + weapon hurts much (it's a 100 sp difference), should I put silver lance + on effie ?

I'm also not sure about red slot, I lack a good red sword unit so I builded tiki bc of her high BST but I can't find any better than TA2/QR2 to make her viable, any build advices?

My others 5* reds are :
Eirika (-spd+hp)
Marth +1 somehow (+spd -atk)
Masked Marth (neutral)
Sanaki (-hp +res)
They have nothing but their base kit and some lvl 2 skill

I also have thought of a medic build for marth (could be good with effie) but I only have renewal 2 despite the swap rate (If I had fae I would already build her) plus I'm afraid the lack of repositioning skill would hurt, and I wouldn't reliably kill hector.
So maybe other build advices with easy obtainable lvl 3 skills?

Overall, using your personal experience do you I could make it to rg 20 if I have a 4th 5* bonus unit?

My others 5* units are :
+Atk-def Azura
+spd-atk Ninian
+hp-res Ninian
neutral Camus
+atk-def Olwen +2 somehow (too bad she has low BST)
+hp-def Linde
+spd-atk summer tiki (can't check reinhardt)
+hp-spd julia (can't reliably kill reinhardt without buffs)

4*merged:
+atk-res cecilia (4*+5)
+spd-res Est (potentially 4*+9 but haven't rolled a single +atk so not sure I should invest in her)

Marth, fakeMarth and Camus are good because of their legendary weapons increasing their arena weight. If you're coming up short with Marth/Lucina + Camus + Sonya + x, then you can use area effect specials or Galeforce/Aether to increase the weight for Marth/Lucina and Camus, although they aren't very optimal specials. Also do try and get tier 3 skills on those units, your current team has way too many half assed skills.

I have a xander-camus-anna core that got me into tier 20 for the first timd thiz last seasom that anna was a bonus hero.

Anna kinda standard but serves as a bait for reinheart. She will survive even reins with hone calvary buffs. She then either goes in for the kill and gets repositioned to safety or if there is and enemy cecilia camus kills xander and anna kills cecilia since they are usually paired. After that she just serves to shuffle hp around and to ge in opportune killz.

Camus needs the +3 speed to hit a solid 42 speed with calvary buff. His best defense is thst no one will double him and he can get the kills he needs. Fury can be run for extra poins but i dont like the 6 dmg for each encounter. His original special because its weighed more in the score.

Xander with the def seal hits 46 def with buffs and will hard wall many physicall units. He should not run fury because it will cost him matchups in a fight of attrition.

The fourth unit can be a bonus or any solid unit that is worth a good amount of points. My sherena is not really optimal so she just serves as another blue tank with acces to hp for anna to redistribute.

Next seanon im gonna have to 5* alfonse tho and give him some skills but ill run the team basically the same. Its a lot of strategixing and its a challenge but it fun..
This team will get you to tier 20 if u can use it effectively but as ftp you will be back in 19.

Tip: plain stat boost A skills (+hp, +atk, +spd, +def, +res) are weighed poorly in Arena. Any other A skill will have better value, so consider keeping bad skills like Armored Blow for Xander in this case if you're still a few points short.

Ya i know but they get the job done so it theyre fine...for now. Like i said fury would be better on camus but on xander the 5 dmg would actually get him killed.

But now with anna getting access to atk ploy sacred seal i might do that

Like i have +atk rein, celica, nino and tharja, that would make for easy wins but they are sadly weighted low.
I just got ike which is my only top tier unit wich will weigh good on arena but he is -atk +hp so i gotta test his build

So according to your responses legendary weapons are more important than the free BST that effie could provide, so sp cost is more important than BST?
Do you know any formula to calculate the arena score?
I would really like to know how much SP is worth 1 point (I heard that 10 BST was worth 1 point)

Both are important.
But your Effie loses too much SP value with her skillset to be worth using, especially when also considering the mobility drawback imo. Since Camus can afford to run more expensive specials in addition to his weapon.
Although I don't know the actual conversions...

Nevermind ! I read on some reddit post that 1 merge was worth 1 point, so my 149 BST olwen is even better at scoring than 168 BST Effie
