I got lucky and got a new year hrid (+res-spd) on my free summon not the ticket one. How viable would him, new year fjorm, SY!Tiki (+spe-hp) and Est (+atk-hp) be? There are now duel skills for red and blue fliers. The only one that could potentially hurt my bst is New Year Fjorm. I'm not looking for anything crazy, at least tier 20 perhaps. It just seemed like a fun team to play around with for the next month and I do have good ivs/fodder at the moment.
First one up is NY Hrid, I posted some builds from the simulator in an earlier post. The main consensus was to go fully in his attack or abuse him as a wall physical or mixed. Well I got the iv I was hoping for on him which is +res for mixed tank viability. I already have SY!Tiki as a DC unit so I was thinking along fort def/res3, guard, hone fliers and quick riposte seal. His default weapon, res refined.
Second is NY!Fjorm (Neutral)
Was planning fury, desp, fortify fliers, breath of life seal or atk/speed/res seal with her default weapon speed refined. Since it's a team I was thinking about playing with on tempest trials and arena I could switch the seals around. I noticed the team lacks some hard sustain (aether, healer, reciprocal aid, etc). Normally that would not be a problem, but thought it might be helpful to keep Hrid in guard range, SY!Tiki in swordbreaker range and ease usage in tempest trials. This might be one of my team's only reindhart counters.
Third up is the youngest whitewing Est (+atk-hp)
Plan to use her newly refined lance to pummel the armors I'm bound to see. Death blow 3 atm, chill def 3, ward fliers, flier formation seal. Can change death blow to b duel for scoring.
Last up is SY!Tiki (+spe-hp)
Build I had in mind was distant counter, swordbreaker, goad fliers, iote's shield** and her default weapon. I used to have legendary robin in one of my other flier teams but as of late I use her with fallen robin (M) and guidance in a dragon team. With iote's shield she essentially is another archer countering dragon. Archers can be a pain to deal with on full flying teams. Good to have one to bait them out.
Overall, I tried to keep the colors, damage type, effective damage, buffs and debuffs balanced. It's one of these things that might sound good on paper (or in my head). I may be missing something or have a glaring weakness to common arena threats. Sorry for the long post, any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
