Added 150 points to my arena score and jumped 12k positions.

Is this always how close it is in the arena?
I'm tier 18 this week (19 last week) and was sitting in 13,000th place with 4650 points. I had died a few times and was struggling with Alfonse, so I took the score I got. I took advantage of the SP weekend and gave Alfonse a few new skills, hit the arena again and grabbed a breathless run of 4798 points. I checked my spot in the tier and was catapulted to 1,300th place.
So, um, is it always this tight? That's insane 150 points separates 12,000 spots.

Yea having an extra 100 or so points helps a ton especially in the higher tiers where having the highest amount of points possible is a must.

You still need to get 50 or so more if you want tier 20.

I once added like 20 points and jumped 2000 ranks and that is how I made it to tier 20 the first time tier 20 was opened.
Ofc we don't need to discuss how many crests I burned on throwing matches with the wrong point total.
