Adaptive Damage

Okay, tell me if this busted
Melee range units (sword, lance, axe, dragon stone, CC units) with adaptive damage...
I think one reason why dragon units have been so over bearing is their access to DC+Adaptive damage + CDR to every single dragon unit... at 2 range, so what if they had like sword units who hit a unit like Arden on the res side, but hit michaih on def
I've been thinking about swords like Light Brand, that have 1-2 range, and how cool it'd be to get some of those in the game, so the question of OP or not comes from
If we had inheritable adaptive weapons for every melee style would it be busted?
What if it was just a sword/lance/axe that hit on the res side?
Curious on what you guys think

I would love for some unique weapons like that to come.
Still hoping Leif's Light Brand will get a refine like this.

But not as regulair weapons.

Adaptive Damage is a dragon niche. They also have an innate weakness to Falchion and Naga tomes. To give adaptive damage to everyone would be extremely negligent unless you offset it with a lower might like ~11.
Id prefer it if the inheritable Levin Sword and Bolt Naginata/Axe simply did magic damage at 14 might at a 1 square range

Yes, but limitations like Manaketes (Ranged only)

So it could be (Melee only, but that would break the game xD)

But yes, I don't know why others are opposing while we already have a Manakete with built in DC, DragonSlaying and Adaptive all in one weapon.

That's not inheritable, okay? Then just give us a Sword with Lightning Breath effect without DC. It's not like those Manaketes have already broken the game and Sword users have to give up their weapons too.

Plus, we even have Shining Bow that's the same as Leif and Idk what IS is doing anymore.

Adaptive Damage won't break the game. Most heroes have almost equal def res, especially armors and manaketes
