I actually think it's very fitting that it's so stylized. He's supposed to look disturbing and unsettling. The comics vibe it gives changes a lot from the anime-esque faces we've had since launch.
Also that special art looks dope.

I do enjoy the overall style for him, but my problem is just that the eyes feel a bit too off for the style he has going on

Poorly done fanart is an extreme stretch, and kinda a bit rude. XD

It's just a different art style. Arthur, Jaden, Ogma, Gunter, Eliwood; they all have different art styles. Making them different doesn't mean they're poorly done. The point of Grima is that he's not really Robin, which is probably why they went for someone else to make his art. He's supposed to be wicked, disturbing, and out of place. Why? Because Grima!Robin was supposed to be all of the above.

My only regret is that the voice actor's voice wasn't "distorted" like it kinda was during the final battle.
