About Merging on a late scale..

So im going to put this in a scenario.

Let's say I have a +9 merged Hana that was +Atk/-Def and I summoned a +Spd/-Hp Hana. If I merged the +9 Hana to the +Spd/-Hp Hana would the merges disappear or would Hana be +10 merged?
I might end up going for a different iv for a Sophia.

Yes, you can even Merge a +10 onto another IV unit to change IVs. You'll lose all your accumulated SP but that's farmed easily.

I’ve always believed that +atk-hp Hana was the way to go. She’s never done any wrong for me at max. But she’s still going to be super strong with a speed boon.

To answer the question, yes your merges will transfer, but you will lose your SP bank less the 1200 you gain from the merge. So if you have anything you want to teach her before you merge, now is the time to do so.

What I’m saying is if you have multiple skills you want to still teach her, you would be better suited to do so when you still have a large SP supply. For instance, if you wanted to give her galeforce and swift sparrow and have not done so yet, both skills combined at maximum level will cost 1830 SP. You would still have to farm that SP when you merge her, so it would be more cost effective to teach her all of that now if you have over 2000 SP on your +9 copy.

I may be new to Gamepress, but my knowledge will hopefully help you and many others along the way. I want to give the best advice possible to everyone I come across, and certainly hope that if my logic has a hole in it, that someone will call it out so I do not repeat the same mistake twice.
