About merging, If I merge a hero with some SP it pass all that SP to the receiving hero? I know that they pass all the abilities learned but what happens to the SP?

this is why its a common tactic to inherit the skills you want on the final one onto the many different merges, that way you can unlock all the skills individually and not have to sp grind with a lvl 40 unit.
