About Halloween Dorcas

Is is ssid that he has the Highest Attck stat without dependence of IVs. My question is why do the guides use Ignis or Bonfire instead of Draconic Fang/Aura if his Attack is so high?

I wouldn't always go completely with everything they say with the builds on their pages. I like their analyses but don't always agree with their builds

You're dumb as fuck. Of course Ignis is better for him, he's a armored unit with high defense. Why would you even use a sucky special like Dragon Wang over that? Wow, you think you're soooo edgy because you don't follow the site's suggested builds.

Ignis/bonfire pretty much always do more damage, the draconic skills don't really scale correctly.

He does more damage with ignis/bonfire even without the refine. But the draconic specials are indeed better for *some* units. The math is simple, dunno why people can't do a simple multiplication and figure it out for themselves what is better for a specific unit.

This is not true. the draconic skills deal more damage for a lot of units...

With that said, ignis/bonfire do deal more damage for Dorcas. And the math is very simple:
Draconic aura = 55 * 0.3 = 16.5 extra damage
Bonfire = 37 * 0.5 = 18.5 extra damage
Dragon Fang = 55 * 0.5 = 27.5 extra damage
Ignis = 37 * 0.8 = 29.6 extra damage

An example of a unit where draconic aura is the best special would be Raven

What exactly is questionable in there? Unless I input a wrong digit somewhere this is the most trivial math out there.´

EDIT: I copy/pasted the dragon fang/ignis lines from the previous 2 and forgot to change the names and the percentage :P Still the final damage was correct. I edited those lines, should be good now

You can use a calculator (or your head, whatever) and figure out that def based specials actually deal slightly more damage than atk based specials even in Dorcas's case.
