It's nice that we get reduced Lift, but seeing that whales already have great Def team's that probably win's every defense raid I don't see how good it would be for them where as non whales that have problem's with getting at least that first win every 20 hours need it the most

I find it hard to believe that whales are getting defense wins against the best players in the game. I've gotten deathless wins with 2+1 offensive fortress against 3+1 defensive fortress. During the season when catapult was a bonus structure, I played all week with level 2 offensive fortress against 2+1 defensive fortress. The advantage of a whale is that they merge +10 on whatever unit they want, which does almost the same thing as having 1 level of fortress advantage.

I'm not even the most precise or creative player around and I can win at fortress level disadvantage without losing units, so a good player without fortress level disadvantage should be able to compete with a whale.

You only need to win the first raid of the day to prevent any lift loss for 20 hours, so even Defense whales can still beat Off whales if they have a great Def team

Well, I know as a matter of fact that two of the three best players (MMM and Birdy) get -80'd every day.

In high tiers, it's extremely hard to make a functioning defense team, because we players are just so knowledgeable with the game mechanics that there is nothing uncrackable if we go into AR prepared.

No matter how knowledged you are at the game even whales can have trouble at offense raiding

And I'll even add that whales are for the biggest part not that good. But they do have enough to pull through anyway, because their mistakes are compensated by Eirs' bonuses.
