5 Star Combat Manuals

Anyone turn 5 star units into combat manuals? I'm going through my barracks and cleaning them out to make lots of space, and I haven't done anything yet with my 5 star units. Does anyone turn them into manuals?

Just the 5 stars that I don't plan to merge altogether. I currently only have Joshua, Tailtiu, and Genny since I have each one already built.

Yes of course. Got q spare BIke and LIke ready for breath fodder. Also got unoptimal iv Dorcas for qr3 or inf pulse. Ex Chrom for Chill Def and Aether.

Anything that doesn't have the Iv's you want can be safely turned into a combat manual. the only reason to not is if it's you're only copy of a hero, or it has better IV's than your current copy.

Yup. Got some L.Hector, some B.Ike, L.Ike, B.Tharja, and a Karla all intended to be fodder.

Since I always keep at least one copy of each units, the copies whose IVs I don't particularly care for feel safe enough to be converted in manuals.

It's really up to whether you want and/or need them "AS A UNIT." If you can answer that question specifically, then your decision should be easy.
