21 orbs. Where are you guys at?

Ok, this is where I'm at. This is the most I've never saved. Just got to keep this steady pace in saving up and I'll have a +10 Brave Celica in no time. (Ha, sure)
No bait banner getting me. Even though I really want HS Xander and Michiah, I will use my free summon and maybe an extra 4 orbs for one more color. But that's it.
What other count are you guys at. Inb4 someone says 362 and shows me up.

Oh, I'm swimming in orbs (34) but I guess tomorrow I'll have zero. Definetly gonna get +10 of all the CYL units too ^^

I only have 115, so I'll take the full free round, but the rest Go towards Veronica!

102. Was an idiot and spend 50 on the summer banner when I saw I didn't want any of the dancers hoping for a +Atk/Spd Camilla but stopped when I realised how unlikely that was to happen. May do the first circle for the dancers but I don't really care.

I'm at 260 right now this is the most i've ever saved and i'm truly looking forward to CYL.

Nice. I'm not too excited for CLY to be honest, free Celica and I may be done unless the others have groundbreaking skills, which they likely will.

Yeah, I'll do the same, no more than 15 orbs on the Hoshidan Summer banner. Even though Xander's dance is hypnotizing and Micaiah looks super cute, my mind is set on saving for L! Marth. Oh and I have about 190 orbs atm

yeah, I stopped using orbs on every single banner 4 months ago and I'm at 1588. When you stop using them you realize that we get several hundreds of orbs every month. It really is a lot.

I started saving after a banner featuring Leo and Eirika. Compensation orbs really stack.

Then I advise against pulling for her if she's on a banner with four focus units. You can save hundreds of orbs by waiting until she appears on a banner with three focus units, or you can get tons and tons and tons of other 5*s if you pull on a legendary 8% (but you would probably have to spend more orbs than if you pulled for her on a 3-focus unit banner)

EDIT: I'm completely mistaken if CYL2 is a 5%/3% banner. Wasn't aware of this. Please read the ensuing posts.

I could, but we have a "date" for CYL2, I don't know when she will appear again. So I will go for her this time if I don't get her to +10 I will just start saving again. I dislike legendary banners, my odds are bad on those.

They have rerun every single one of the CYL1 units multiple times on both 3-focus banners and legendary banners. If you have the patience to save long enough to obtain well over 1000 orbs, I would be surprised if you cannot wait for her to reappear with better orb prices per focus 5*.

Legendary banners are cruel to people who don't know how to use them and sometimes also to those who do know how to use them; how many orbs did you fire and what were the colour combinations of the focus units you were targeting? (ex: 1 red 2 blues)

It's not going to be a legendary banner. CYL banners have a 5% focus on the four units and 3% on every other unit in the game. So it's a 2% increase from normal banners. Definitely the best chance at getting the cycle units.

!! Truly? Then my thing about waiting for 3-focus banners is flat-out wrong!

I knew that CYL2 wasn't going to be a legendary banner, but I didn't know about 5%/3%. The logic goes like this:

3%/3% with 3 focus units: 1% appearance rate of desired 5*
3%/3% with 4 focus units: 0.75% appearance rate of desired 5*, so we generally need to go through more orbs of any single colour to find the unit
8%/0% with 12 focus units: 0.666...% appearance rate of desired 5* if it's the only 5* of that colour you want, but if you want 2/3 then it's 1.333...%
5%/3% with 4 focus units: 1.25% appearance rate of desired 5*, which is better even than 3%/3% with 3 focus units

Pretty much. The 4 units that will appear in the CYL banner will be at 5%.

1 orb. I've been summoning for Boldfighter fodder and more 3-5* Effies to +10 her (3 more to go). I rather spend orbs and save feathers for someone else. Then save until the 14th when Nephenee's banner shows up. Rip my orbs.

426 burning a hole in my pocket. Most I've ever saved. I'll pull a bit on the dancer banner but I've been saving for CYL.

Not sure I'll ever do this again as I get the feeling I'm going to blow my orbs in one big chunk and be disappointed. I think overall I'll have more fun in the future spreading the joy/pain across multiple banners.

69. I had 81 but then i got Hardin after free summon, so i did full circle

Yesterday I decided to go for colourless on the banner that's about to end, fired 194 orbs and spent 9 expanding, obtaining decent results. Sub-5* summons not as enjoyable as my experience on YT banner, but S.Linde came +spd at the very end and I got three pineapples in the process (I was thinking I would pick up just one along the way; Linde was the one I actually wanted and I was thinking of him as a bonus. Maybe not giving him enough credit with the 35/35 stats).

Now I'm at 212 orbs. Looking forward to seeing the next schedule so I can start thinking about where to fire and whether I'll try to pull Hardin because I want more merges on Nowi and bold fighter is welcome. (I'm probably going to pass on all dancers.)

If CYL2 will be four focus units without shared colour I will consider a pass. I'll run my calculations later but the number of orbs expected to obtain a desired 5* might be too high for my standards.

17. I got my pity rate up to 11% on the legendary banner and then it expired.

But hey, 17 should be enough to get a +5 focus unit if I'm REAAAALLY lucky. So I'm planning on that.

1009 atm. Saving up for when Lector comes back in September. I've never whale'd on a Legendary before. Hoping the kinda luck I've had in the past couple weeks on free rolls comes into play then.

Kinda blew most of my orbs on the travellers banner, got like 6 5 star units for 140 orbs.
Then blew another 30 at the end of the legendary banner to test my luck( got legendary Ryoma 😝) right now I have 20 and really want Xander , so tempting!
