20,000 feathers

Oh what to do. I could do the following:
Give my Lyon guard. It would help him win more mage fights

Give my 4*+10 Cherche Brave axe+

Promote another Sheena to 5*+2

Promote L’Arachel to for res tactic

Or promote Adult Tiki to play with new breath weapon

Either wait to see what the new A!Tiki weapon will be of give Cherche Brave Axe+. She is a total monster with that thing. Your other options are pretty marginal.

I would hold the feathers if I were you, until we find out what the new breath weapon does. However, I'm not sure if you can inherit a 5* weapon onto a 4* unit. Might need 40k feathers to inherit it onto a 5* and then merge the 5* into your 4*+9, except you said she's already +10? Can someone verify one way or the other?

No this is so wrong, Weapon skills still have a star requirement. You cannot circumvent them. The skill requirements for star level transfer over with the skill. You will be able to transfer the skill to the 4* unit, but the 4* unit will not be able to LEARN the skill until they are 5*.

Search 5* weapon for 4*. There are many threads on this.
Yes, it does work. The question is if you want the stronger 5* +10 (max 220000 feathers) or the cheaper 4* +10 (max 40000 feathers if you promote 10 3*s)

My mind boggles that this is true. I apologize for being so certain I was right! I've never used 4 star units (tbh I'm a 5* whale) so I just assumed that the rules were the same, never thought there were special exceptions for the same units of different rarity.

I can't make up my mind whether this is a great mechanic or a terrible one.

No, the thing is that Cherche doesn't come with brave axe, so if you want to give her brave axe+ you need to sac a 5* that naturally learns brave axe+. But then 4* Cherche can't inherit brave axe+, so you need to have a 5* Cherche learn it and then merge that 5* onto the 4*. So total 40k feathers spent for weapon and one merge, right? Or is your point that if you merge any 5* onto a 4*, whether it already learned a weapon+ or not, that the 4* can now learn any 5* weapon of its class? I'd like picture evidence if this is so

I always suggest that whenever you have a precious commodity and you're not sure what to do with it, the answer is ALWAYS to wait. If you spend those feathers thinking "Oh well this is good use", there will very likely come a day when something new comes out and you have your PERFECT use for the feathers, and not just a good use.
