2 Units Who Pair Well Together

Not in terms of "ships", but what 2 (or more) character play-styles do you feel compliment each other?

I think L!Lucina and Odin will work (in theory) as Odin has atk/spd link and that'll benefit Lucina a lot

I like that, that way you don’t have to waste her b-slot with the link skill

I love using L!Marth and Titania. +6 to each stat, as well as debuffing via Ploy and Chill. With DC, high res, and Triangle Adept, she can take on most mages and all blue units that might threaten him. I've been running this for a while. Works great.

Legendary Hector and Ares. It allows Ares to free up his seal slot (which uses Quickened pulse) for something of his benefit.

Good point, my Ares’ middling Spd stat makes it rather difficult to get started. I should try taking him off my horse team. Probably loves the +2 Atk also

Brave Lucina with Drive Atk 6 and any brave user is devastating.

i honestly love using PA Azura with my bridelia they clean up maps most of the time and i then use another combo of Tana and LA Hector because Tana can destroy reds and Hector deals with bows and daggers on occation he deals with mages if hes got vantage ready plus Tana can drag him around nicely using that guidance i can do the same with brave Hector because of Ostian counter and Bold fighter Tana also helps move my units out of harms way using both reposition and guidance

Linde and Celica.
Celica can trigger Linde’s weapons’s refined effect, and Celica can get that monstrous +6 attack buff from her, so both are speedy nukes.
I guess Lilina and Nino also work instead of Celica.

Odin + literally any unit in the game.

Lyon (double DD owl)+L! Tiki
They can just deal with so many foes.
Tiki's one weakness is strong magic units, especially with Naga. And Tiki can protect Lyon from red/ blue melee units

Chrom (bond Falchion)+L!Lucina
Lucina can support Chrom by using her assist to stand next to Chrom and proc bond. Meanwhile Chrom (especially +spd) can survive a good deal of enemies. With his high hp, he can run infantry pulse and panic ploy.

Odin+Eirika or Legendary Marth.

One link will give a massive boost to their stats, considering they have similar weapon effects.

Yeah, Odin allows Eirika arguably the easiest activation of her weapon effect, thanks to the fact, that link gives the buff to both linked units, which then gets also boosted for Eirika if Odin is close. The one thing about new Odin that I hate is that he's such a great support for so many units, that I find it difficult to commit him to a single pairing/ally support. Can't wait to farm the last couple of thousands feathers to +10 him.

What merge do you have him at now

He's at 0 now, but I have enough copies and a decent IV as a base (+spd -res). I want to do a complete sayan transformation for him from 0 to over 9000. I'm lacking around 7K feathers.

That attack animation of the blue sword... probably the no. 1 reason to invest into him

I hope they start doing more newer animations with these refinements or characters. Like the Grimas, and Garon's dragon sprite is mega intimidating and badass, but I was a little disappointed they didn't do anything new with lgn young Tiki

The animation is awesome. A huge heaven-sword is much more intimidating than just a bunch of small swords that the regular bladetomes summon.

Investing in mages is really worth it for these animations. Like Julius with his Loptous and the insane smoke dragon or Forblaze with an actual inferno. I'm kind of bummed down that they don't do these for the melee guys, like if Fir did some insane flips with Nameless blade while attacking or Zephiel with his 360 helicopter swing.

I was also a bit dissapointed with Tiki. It makes sense that they didn't want to deviate from all of her other dragon designs, but she just pales in comparison to the Grima summon or Garron with the crazy red eye.

My best pair, Olivia and Genny. Olivia carts Genny around and provides all the buffs she wants (Kadomatsu+, Chill Speed, and either Attack Tactic and Drive Attack, or Hone Attack and Hone Speed) and Genny acts as my main DPS and gimps the enemy team with Wrazzle-Dazzle Gravity+. 53/39 offenses at the current +9.
