Key stats worth increasing through nature if possible.
Complementary stats that matter, but not to the point of picking them over key stats for nature increase.
Relatively worthless stat that can safely be decreased through nature.

+SPD improves Corrin's odds of double attacking against a random unit significantly. It also adds to her bulk by preventing more double attacks.
+ATK improves Corrin's odds of OHKO/ORKOing a random unit moderately. Goes well with a flier team utilizing flier buffs.

-DEF is suggested since Corrin will engage with magic enemies in trades and will strive to avoid physical combat anyways.
-RES can be used to add a little more physical bulk while maintaining enough magical bulk to survive most of the same magical trades.

-HP should be avoided at all costs considering Corrin is unlikely to handle a second attack, so HP becomes more valuable as a resource that negates both physical and magical damage.
-ATK and -SPD should also be avoided for obvious reasons.

Skill Sets
Beach Debut (Support Flier)
Sealife Tome+ A Swift Sparrow 2
Rally Atk/Spd B Desperation 3
Dragon Fang C Drive Atk 2

Show Explanation/Analysis
  • Preferred Nature: +Speed, +Attack/ -Defense
  • Weapon: Sealife Tome+ / Blessed Bouquet+
  • Support Skill: Rally Atk/Spd / Ardent Sacrifice
  • Special: Dragon Fang
  • A Slot: Swift Sparrow 2 / Swift Strike 2
  • B Slot: Desperation 3
  • C Slot: Drive Atk 2 / Spur Atk 3 / Spur Spd 3 / Varies on team
  • Sacred Seal: Spur Def 1

Corrin becomes an airborne cheerleader as she is able to use her weapon, support, passive and even her seal to boost the offensive and defensive capabilities of her teammates dramatically. With good positioning, it's possible to pass a +4 ATK, +1 SPD and +2 DEF boost to nearby allies while giving a specific ally an extra +3 ATK and +3 SPD on top of that.

With Swift Sparrow and Desperation, she can adopt a slightly more offensive role when the need arises. She can handle most red units with few hiccups.

Bridal Blessings Caeda's Blessed Bouquet can be used to achieve a similar goal. It offers a slightly more defensive approach to the cheerleader in the sky.

Ice-cold Beauty (Blárblade+)
Blárblade+ A Life and Death 3
Ardent Sacrifice B Desperation 3
Moonbow C Threaten Res 3

Show Explanation/Analysis
  • Preferred Nature: +Speed, +Attack/ -Defense
  • Weapon: Blárblade+
  • Support Skill: Ardent Sacrifice
  • Special: Moonbow
  • A Slot: Fury / Life and Death 3 / Swift Sparrow 2
  • B Slot: Desperation 3
  • C Slot: Threaten Res 3 / Varies on team
  • Sacred Seal: ATK +1 / SPD +1

Corrin puts her game face on as she picks up the Blade tome. As a flier, she enjoys the benefits of flier buffs that can add another 24 extra damage to her attacks. If her first attack did not kill the enemy, her second attack most assuredly will. Spring Camilla may have been the first tome flier that could abuse this build, but Corrin is the first one that can attack most units in the game a second time.

Both Fury and Ardent Sacrifice are useful in activating Desperation more easily. Fury also adds more bulk to that slender frame.

Tanned Athlete (Blárraven+)
Blárraven+ A Triangle Adept 3
Reposition B B Tomebreaker 3
Dragon Fang C Threaten Res 3

Show Explanation/Analysis
  • Preferred Nature: +Attack, +Speed/ -Defense
  • Weapon: Blárraven+
  • Support Skill: Reposition
  • Special: Dragon Fang
  • A Slot: Triangle Affinity 3 / Fury 3
  • B Slot: B. Tomebreaker 3 / Vantage 3
  • C Slot: Threaten Res 3 / Varies on team
  • Sacred Seal: ATK +1 / Quickened Pulse

Corrin is able to check all red and colorless units with this build (barring Cancel Affinity users). With Blue Tomebreaker, she will be able to outmatch all blue mages and being a magical tome user, she can outplay many of the blue lance units. If utilizing a flier team, it is possible for her to kill most of the units weak to her without retaliation which will keep her healthy for more fights. Threaten Res can be used to increase her damage against units while Fury and Vantage can be used as alternatives to alter her bulk and damage capabilities. Dragon Fang will let her ixnay problematic units in one attack.

Volleyball Captain (Blárowl+)
Blárowl+ A Close Counter
Swap B Seal Atk Spd 2
Iceberg C Threaten Res 3

Show Explanation/Analysis
  • Preferred Nature: +Defense, +Resist/ -HP
  • Weapon: Blárowl+
  • Support Skill: Swap
  • Special: Iceberg
  • A Slot: Close Counter
  • B Slot: Seal Atk Spd 2 / Guard 3 / Renewal 3
  • C Slot: Threaten Res 3 / Res Ploy 3 /Varies on team
  • Sacred Seal: HP +3 / RES +1

Corrin maintains a lax and open demeanor when alone, but she becomes an amazing shield when surrounded by her comrades. This build is meant for Corrin when she is playing with other airborne friends since it requires effortless positioning and flier spurs. Combine triple Ward Fliers' passives with 3 adjacent allies to Corrin, and she can reach 40 DEF and 44 RES at a neutral nature. Throw a Seal Atk Spd 2 debuff on any oncoming attacker, and it becomes a figurative 45 DEF/ 49 RES with virtually no chance for the enemy to attack twice. Red units and most colorless will hit for zero. Hard-hitting blue units will hit for single digits. And most green units will be unable to double attack and kill you. If you are using a Defensive Rally, I would consider using Guard or Renewal to increase Corrin's longevity. While the build seems somewhat questionable at times, there is no question on how fun it is to watch enemies continuously run into Corrin and die repeatedly.

Corrin (F) disembarks onto the battlefield clad in proper beach-wear befitting a Nohr Princess, and she did not come alone. With her trusty dragon, she soars over stunned and breathless foes blasting them with her Blue magic to cool them off. The first Blue Tome flier, she is a great addition to most flier teams and is still a great pick for anyone looking for a proficient and mobile magic user. If anything else, she can kick Emblian butt and look good doing it!

Corrin is in the magic sweet-spot with having a great balance between ATK and SPD.  She is capable of double attacking most units for a respectable amount of damage.  Despite her mediocre bulk, her SPD is high enough to evade double attacks which allows her to survive most life-threatening attacks.  Her main cause of worry are brave weapons that get around her speed and charged specials since they will overpower her small frame.  She can serve as great bait for most mages since her combined RES and HP will be able to absorb most attacks fine barring the occasional green mage.

Being a flier, she is capable of utilizing flier buffs to go beyond the normal capabilities of a mage.  With a neutral nature, a Hone Fliers will place her at 37 ATK and 40 SPD which allows her to demolish most units in the game fairly easily.  If you consider using a Blarblade, then the other blue mage users will not even approach her damage capabilities.  It's even possible to use her mediocre bulk to your advantage and trigger Desperation or Vantage quite easily.  One thing is for sure: Corrin isn't going home with anyone unless she wants to!

  • Second flying tome-user and the first blue color.
  • Capable of utilizing flier buffs/spurs to boost stat spread much farther than infantry mages.
    • Top Blarblade user as a result.
  • Great terrain traversal and movement support options.

Decent Attack

  • Fourth highest among blue tome users.
  • High enough to OHKO/ORKO many red units.

Great Speed

  • Third highest among blue tome users.
  • 34 SPD is well-positioned as the sixth highest speed stat in the game; she can double attack most units with very little support.

Very Low HP

  • Second lowest HP among blue tome users.
  • Quite susceptible to OHKO special attacks and brave weapons.

Poor Defense

  • With her defense almost as poor as her HP, she does not do so well with repeating physical attacks.

Mediocre Resist

  • While good enough to win trades with mages, she does not take kindly to special attacks from mages or an initiated Dire Thunder from Reinhardt.
Team Options

Corrin's entourage is capable of increasing her offensive capabilities easily:

A couple of allies that increase Corrin's defensive options can improve her chances of victory in both beach volleyball and the art of war.

Desperation Corrin loves attacking multiple times, so Dancer/Singer support allows Corrin to continue her seductive dance:

Units that can shield Corrin from the sunlight and/or other dangerous entities:

Green units will quickly end Corrin's fun-in-the-sun:

Archers will also rain down on Corrin's parade:

High Resist units who are unaffected by the Nohr Princess' fashion sense:

Aside from units, Corrin will need a little more than sunscreen to handle these abilities:
