This build is a very typical offensive set that many archers before Spring Loki enjoy and one that she will also enjoy.

For weapons, Archers have two strong options in Firesweep Bow and Brave Bow. Firesweep Bow allows Spring Loki to avoid counterattacks from enemies not using Null C-Disrupt at the cost of not being able to counterattack herself. Meanwhile, Brave Bow allows Spring Loki to perform an immediate attack after her first and can potentially perform four attacks in one round if she performs a follow-up attack. Both are strong offensive options and can pair well with Spring Loki. Of the two, Firesweep Bow is recommended but Brave Bow is the cheaper option.

The Assist used will be a matter of personal preference and there is no best option here. Draw Back and Reposition are two movement Assists that make for great general choices with Spring Loki. Both Moonbow and Luna are good choices of Special that can help Spring Loki with fighting high Defense enemies that she may otherwise struggle to deal significant damage to. Moonbow, in particular, can pair very well with the Heavy Blade Seal for consistent activation.

Regardless of which weapon is used, Atk/Spd Solo will be a fantastic A slot choice. This A slot grants a huge offensive boost whenever Spring Loki has no adjacent allies. Life and Death is also a strong and budget choice, especially with Firesweep Bow where the Defensive deficit won’t matter anywhere near as much. Death Blow at either level 3 or 4 will also be a great choice for Brave Bow if one wants to focus more on raw damage than ability to quad attack. Swift Sparrow is another great choice for both weapons, granting a good offensive boost whenever initiating combat.

In the B slot, Chill Spd makes for a powerful option with both weapons. Chill Spd will debuff the opponent with the highest Speed for a substantial amount of their Speed, not only improving Loki’s capabilities to perform a follow-up against them, but also helping her other teammates against the same opponent. Chill Def is also a powerful choice, targeting Defense instead of Speed. For Firesweep Bow, Cancel Affinity is a great choice, allowing Spring Loki to negate the Weapon Triangle when fighting Triangle Adept Raven mages. Desperation can be a good choice with Brave Bow if one is intending to perform four attacks.

The C slot is largely open to personal preference. Savage Blow makes for a strong option with either weapon, though more so with Firesweep Bow where Spring Loki doesn’t have to worry about Vantage. On a flier team, she’d want to bring a Flier Buff to support her allies. Luckily, she does come by default with Goad Fliers which will be a great choice for her. Finally, Darting Blow makes for a great Sacred Seal choice which gives Spring Loki with a large Speed buff when initiating combat. Atk/Spd +2 is also a good choice for a simple but effective offensive boost. Heavy Blade can also make for a great choice with Moonbow. If Spring Loki is able to activate Heavy Blade, she can fully charge Moonbow in a single attack.

  • Passive B: Vantage

  • Passive C: Def Smoke / Savage Blow

  • Sacred Seal: Brazen Atk/Res / Brazen Atk/Def / Fierce Stance / Iote’s Shield

This build is designed specifically for use in Aether Raids, particularly for fighting flier compositions where the effective damage will allow Loki to perform very well. Do understand though that this build would not be a end-all counter to fliers as Firesweep weaponry and Iote’s Shield can be found commonly on flier defense teams.

The ideology behind this build is for Spring Loki to be capable of defeating fliers in a single hit on Enemy Phase through the use of Vantage. As such, she wants as much poured into her Attack stat as physically possible. Regardless of what weapon one chooses, it should be refined for Attack. Brazen Atk/Res and Brazen Atk/Def also make for fantastic Sacred Seal slot choices. With a +6 Attack boost on top of everything mentioned so far, Loki will possess very strong offensive power against fliers, though some of the more bulky fliers can still survive, such as +10 Cherche.

As for the weapon itself, Gratia makes for a fantastic choice. Since both ranged fliers and flier field buffs are common, this will allow Spring Loki to ignore their field buffs altogether. However, this bow will likely not be necessary if Spring Loki has an Aversa on her team. Devilish Bow can be another great option, granting reduced enemy Special charge which helps to keep her more safe when outside of Vantage. For a cheaper option, simply Slaying Bow will be an effective choice with reduced Special cooldown.

Close Counter is necessary for this build to function effectively. This will allow Spring Loki to retaliate against close range fliers such as the aforementioned Cherche. Vantage is also important in order to ensure that Spring Loki has the first attack when she’s below 75% HP. Getting her into Vantage range in the first place is important. A common tactic is to use a Bolt Trap to knock her HP down which in turn could potentially greatly increase her effectiveness against the enemies depending on where the Bolt Trap is. Otherwise, using the others on her team to boost her defenses so she can survive a hit is also an option.

Def Smoke will make for a strong C slot choice. With it, Spring Loki can initiate combat on an enemy flier and will reduce the Defense of anyone around her target, thus increasing her own damage against them. Savage Blow is another potential option, though any damage dealt will potentially be counteracted by a healing tower. Assist will be up to one’s own preference. Both Draw Back and Reposition will make for safe general choices for her. Spring Loki comes with Luna by default and will make for a fine Special choice, potentially helping her against bulkier fliers. Moonbow is also an effective choice that is lower in power but quicker to activate in comparison to Luna.

As alternatives to Brazen Atk/Res or Brazen Atk/Def in the Sacred Seal slot, Spring Loki can also make excellent use of Fierce Stance to increase her damage output. While a Brazen skill grants slightly more Attack and bonus Defense or Resistance when active, Fierce Stance has no requirement beyond being attacked. Iote’s Shield is another strong option, keeping her safe from units such as WF Hinoka which can be seen relatively commonly on flier teams.

If one wants to build Spring Loki cheap, that can certainly be done. This simple and cheap build will prove quite effective for general use.

Beguiling Bow, her default weapon, increases all stats bar HP by two when her opponent is at full HP. This is a pretty good effect but suffers from a stingy requirement. If one is willing to perform a feather investment, then the Slaying Bow can prove to be a strong weapon choice, allowing her to activate her Special quicker. In either case, refining for Speed increases Spring Loki’s ability to perform follow-up attacks. Assist is open to player preference with Draw Back and Reposition both being strong and safe choices for her. Moonbow makes for a great Special, especially with Slaying Bow, thanks to its low cooldown. Luna is a cheaper alternative that has more power but a higher cooldown.

In the A slot, Fury is a strong and cheap option that gives Spring Loki an all-round boost to all of her stats. While Fury 4 is arguably stronger than Fury 3, is it extremely expensive in comparison and not necessary for this build to be strong. Life and Death is another good option that gives a large offensive boost at the cost of her defenses. Desperation is a very effective B slot choice that lets Spring Loki make any follow-up attack immediately after her first when below 75% HP. Flier Formation is another good option if used with flier allies, allowing Spring Loki to move adjacent to any flier within 2 spaces.

The C slot will be open to player preference. In general, skills such as Drives will make for safe choices if one doesn’t know what to use. If Spring Loki is on a flier team, using her default Goad Fliers or any other Flier Buff will be a great choice. Last but not least, Darting Blow is an excellent Sacred Seal choice that gives Spring Loki a large Speed buff when initiating combat. If that is unavailable, a simple stat boost such as Atk/Spd +2 will make for a great choice.

Introduction

There’s no deceit or trickery to be found here, Loki has decided to join us in celebration of the Spring Festival in a rather risque bunny outfit for completely free! Spring Loki is a colorless bow flier obtainable for free through Tempest Trials. Statistically speaking, she sports a fairly well rounded statline that makes her a versatile archer.

Offensively speaking, Spring Loki is sadly outclassed by her fellow colorless bow fliers WF Hinoka and Summer Takumi. Even with this said, her offensive capabilities are fairly good, coming with decent Attack and Speed. What she does have compared to those two though is better defensive capabilities. This allows her to effectively run skills other than the typical offensive options most archers enjoy such as Guard Bow and Close Counter.

Overall, Spring Loki will prove to be a valuable asset simply by virtue of being a free bow flier, a class of unit that has been only summonable at five star rarity up until this point. Even outside of this, Spring Loki will be able to prove herself as a versatile and effective archer in both offensive and defensive sets. Regardless of what set she decided to take, Spring Loki will prove her worth on the battlefield.

Strengths

Good Speed

Spring Loki comes with a fairly good Speed stat of 34. This is only one point of speed less than WF Hinoka and Summer Takumi. This Speed can be put to great use both offensively and defensively, giving her good potential to both perform follow-up attacks and avoid follow-up attacks.

Good Defensive Capabilities

Compared to most archers, Spring Loki actually possesses the stats to be quite effective defensively. Her 27 Defense is not the highest found on bow units, but is still in the higher end. Her 25 Resistance is fairly decent and is average for archers. She also has a fairly good 39 HP. Because of this, Spring Loki is capable of using more than the typical offensive sets found on most archers and can put skills such as Guard Bow and Close Counter to good use.

Flier Strengths

Being a flying unit, Spring Loki has two primary benefits: her mobility and access to Flier Buffs. As a flier, she is capable of passing over normally untraversable terrain such as mountains and water. This gives her much more room to work with on maps and can put this mobility to good use in order to get into advantageous positions that other movement types cannot easily reach. She can also benefit from skills such as Hone Fliers and Ward Fliers when used alongside other flying units for large and easy stat buffs.

Weaknesses

Mediocre Attack

Spring Loki’s biggest drawback is her Attack stat. While 31 Attack is absolutely by no means bad, it is mediocre in general. This hampers her ability to deal a lot of damage and hinders her ability to utilize Brave Bow, though she is still capable of using this weapon effectively with the right skills supporting her.

Flier Weaknesses

Being a flier also comes with one notable weakness: bows. All bows deal effective damage against fliers unless they’re using Iote's Shield. While Spring Loki has good defensive capabilities, anyone wielding a bow will still deal a lot of damage to her, so caution is advised. However, Iote's Shield is available as a Sacred Seal, so Spring Loki can opt to use that if one is concerned about enemy archers.

Team Options

With Spring Loki being a flier, other fliers will make for a natural partner with her. Outside of this, any units capable of supporting her combat capabilities will make for an effective teammate.

  • Fliers: All fliers are capable of providing Spring Loki with flier buffs and many fliers make for both strong support and strong combatants. Camilla and Hinoka for example can provide support through their personal weapons to Spring Loki while also being good fighters. Other good fliers include but not limited to Legendary Ryoma, Summer Tana, Catria, Summer Camilla, Cherche, SF Nino, and Halloween Mia.

  • Refreshers: Refreshers are powerful allies that can grant Spring Loki with another action following her first. Any refresher will make for a strong ally with her, but of particular note are Legendary Azura and the other flying refreshers. Legendary Azura in particular can grant Spring Loki with an extra point of movement and buff all her stats at once thanks to her unique refresh and weapon.

  • Buffers: Outside of fliers, there are also other units capable of providing good support to Spring Loki. Eirika and Ephraim can both provide good support thanks to their personal weapons while also being strong combat units as well. If Spring Loki’s team comp allows for it, Seth and Titania have personal weapons that carry Tactic skills and can both use three Tactic skills at once, making them both also strong supporting units.

Counters

  • Units with Flier Effectiveness: Naturally, the biggest threat to Spring Loki will be any unit in possession of a weapon that deals effective damage against fliers. All units with a bow possess this, making units such as Halloween Jakob, Brave Lyn, Legendary Lucina, WF Hinoka, and even Spring Loki herself effective counters to her. Merric is also a threat thanks to his Excalibur tome dealing effective damage. This weakness can be offset somewhat by Iote’s Shield, but archers such as Halloween Jakob and Brave Lyn are plenty strong enough to deal a good amount of damage even without the effective bonus.

  • Bulky units with Distant Counter: Given her middling Attack, Spring Loki can sometimes struggle with particularly tanky units that possess a lot of Defense. These units are even more of a threat if they possess Distant Counter. Unless she has a Firesweep Bow, Spring Loki should take care when attacking units such as Zelgius, Brave Hector, Legendary Tiki, and Fallen Robin. Spring Loki should also watch out for bulky infantry using Null C-Disrupt which can still retaliate against her even when she’s using Firesweep Bow.
