  • +Attack can be used instead if the player wishes to utilize her speed for defensive purposes due to its already great value.

  • Should the player wish to keep Shanna's overall bulk while easing the condition to activate Desperation, a bane of -HP is taken.

  • The sprightly flier has a decent amount of resistance, though much more is needed to survive the mages. As such, a -Resistance bane is recommended.

  • Having an already-middling defensive stat, -Defense can be taken to keep her magical soak intact.

Shanna, the Sprightly Flier is a lance-wielding pegasus knight with very good speed, good magical soak, decent attack and bad physical soak.

Already noticeable is Shanna's speed, sitting at a whopping 35. She is thus naturally resistant to any natural follow-up.

Unfortunately, that is the only good factor about the cheerful pegasus knight. Her defense is quite low, and her resistance and attack are only decent.

Due to her movement type, she is naturally weak to arrows. Fortunately she can be included in flier teams to give her a great increase in offense and defense.

Overall, Shanna is a very fast lance-wielding pegasus knight with decent stats and bad defense. As such, she is a decent unit to have on your team turned good if in a flier-centric team.

Strengths
  • Very good speed
    • At 35 speed, the only unit who can double her is Lon'qu.
    • She will be able to utilize her Desperation passive quite well.
  • Pretty good magic soak
    • Since Shanna naturally denies follow-up attacks, neutral mages will require

    • It will take her 45 neutral attack to die from a Brave user.
    • This translates to 57 for red units and 38 for greens.
  • Archers
    • Requiring 64 neutral attack to fall, bowmen will require only 43 attack if you exclude their bonus against fliers.
Team Options

Being a flier, Shanna can be included in flier-centric teams to increase her great speed stat even further while patching up her bulk.

The overly cheerful flier has pretty bad defense, and will pair well with units who can take the beating and defeat her counters, the Brave Weapons and Bowmen:

Shanna can easily snipe and kill magical units, and she also goes well with units weak to them:

As for the skill sets:

  • "Thrusting Attack" is a quad-strike set for players wanting a slightly squishy lone wolf-type of unit.
  • "Plunging Attack" is a budget build focusing on quick, big hits.
  • "Pulling Attack" is a more supportive set, granting Shanna a bit more bulk and safety.
Counters

With such a low defensive stat, Shanna will take considerable damage if not die to:

  • Any Brave Weapon user
  • Any Wyvern Rider (heavy hitting Axe user).

Merric will also blow her away with his Excalibur tome.
