Boons
-
+ATK: At a relatively low value of 29, Rebecca will greatly appreciate a boon in Attack in order to increase her damage output.
-
+SPD: Speed is important in securing Rebecca's follow-up attack when using offense-centric builds, as well as preventing her opponent’s follow-up attack in more defense-oriented ones.
Neutral
-
RES: Raising Resistance is not a priority, as she performs well at her base value. However, it also makes for an acceptable boon to increase her ability to tank magic. This is most prevalent when using a Guard Bow.
Banes
-
-DEF: Defense is Rebecca’s weakest stat and best option for a bane, as dropping it further will hardly hinder her performance.
-
-HP: HP is another good choice for a bane. While it takes away from her overall bulk, it can be circumvented by refining almost any bow thanks to the +3 HP it provides.

Sacred Seal: Distant Defense / Quick Riposte / Attack +3
This build aims to make Rebecca an effective mage tank by stacking as much Enemy Phase Resistance as possible. Guard Bow fits this playstyle perfectly, as it provides 6 Def/Res when initiated on. When it comes to IVs, a boon in Speed allows Rebecca to better avoid follow-up attacks from high-tier Speed units while a boon in Attack increases her overall damage output. In particular, a boon in Attack is required in order to defeat Reinhardt in one round of combat. Additional Resistance also makes for a suitable option, as Rebecca’s primary function is to take magical damage.
As for Specials, Moonbow is a great choice thanks to its short cooldown allowing it to activate during every round of combat assuming Quick Riposte is active. It’s also a more reliable option than Glimmer, as Rebecca’s Attack is too low to make effective use of its damage scaling property. If one desires more power in exchange for a longer cooldown, Iceberg is another great choice of Special thanks to the additional Resistance from skills such as Guard Bow and Distant Defense factoring into its activation.
Since the core of this build is stacking Enemy Phase Resistance, Distant Defense is the choice A skill. With both this and Guard Bow, Rebecca will receive a whopping +12 Def/Res and a total of 82 magical bulk when initiated on. Warding Stance is also acceptable, as they are functionally the same for Rebecca. If neither are available, Fury makes for a good budget option by increasing Rebecca’s Atk/Spd/Def/Res by 3 at the cost of 6 damage taken after combat.
Quick Riposte is absolutely essential, as Rebecca will need it to guarantee her follow-up attack against high-Speed mages. This is very important in securing the KO as well as activating her Special. Alternatively, Quick Riposte can be moved to the Sacred Seal slot in favor of running another B skill such as Vantage. This pairs especially well with Iceberg, as Rebecca will almost always have it ready to activate after her first round of combat assuming that Quick Riposte is active. This gives her the potential to take out multiple opponents in a single Enemy Phase. Another good choice is Dull Ranged, as it gives Rebecca an immunity to her opponent’s Hone/Fortify buffs. This is especially useful in nullifying the damage received from Blade tomes.
Attack Smoke is a great choice of C skill in making Rebecca a better mage tank, as it severely hinders the damage output of opponents around her after combat. If unavailable, the C slot can be replaced with whatever will accommodate her team.
Distant Defense is a fantastic choice of Sacred Seal, as stacking it in addition to Guard Bow as well as having it in the A slot gives Rebecca a staggering +18 Def/Res when initiated on by a ranged opponent. If not already being used in the B slot, the Quick Riposte seal is crucial in allowing Rebecca to perform consistent follow-up attacks in the Enemy Phase. Outside of that, Attack +3 is a solid pick in order to increase Rebecca’s damage output.

Sacred Seal: Flashing Blade / Speed +3 / Attack +3
By utilizing Firesweep Bow, Rebecca prevents her opponents from counter-attacking at the cost of not being unable to counter-attack herself. This allows her to completely forego her bulk in favor of maximizing her offensive damage output, making Attack and Speed the ideal boons to take. Speed is especially important for a Firesweep user, as attacking twice is far more important than attacking once with additional damage.
When it comes to Specials, Moonbow is the best choice. By running it in tandem with the Flashing Blade Sacred Seal, Rebecca and potentially activate her Special every single round of combat. Should one choose not to run Flashing Blade, Luna also fits this playstyle well. Since Firesweep sets will often attack twice during combat, a Special with a cooldown of 3 such as Luna will activate every other round.
Since the nature of this build is purely offensive, the lowered defensive stats from Life and Death are a non-issue, making it the choice A skill for boosting the offensive power of Firesweep users. Fury is a cheap alternative that can be used to give Rebecca slightly more bulk in exchange for 2 Atk and Spd. This increases her chances of survival should she ever need to take a hit. As for B skills, Cancel Affinity is chosen to prevent Triangle Adept/Raven Tome mages from being able to wall off Rebecca’s damage. Swordbreaker is another great choice, as Rebecca will need it to guarantee a follow-up attack against some of the faster sword units such as Ayra and Mia.
Speed Smoke is useful in debuffing opponents around Rebecca’s target. This can be very powerful with refresher support by making subsequent follow-up attacks easier to perform. Finally, Speed +3 and Attack +3 are both great Sacred Seal options in order to improve Rebecca’s damage output.
Introduction
Statwise, Rebecca is quite mediocre across the board. Sporting a relatively low Attack of 29 and a decent Speed of 34, her offense leaves much to be desired. Her Def/Res bulk of 58/64 isn’t very impressive either and makes her prone to getting taken out in only a single hit from physical and magic damage alike.
However; although these stats aren’t impressive on their own, they are by no means unsalvageable. By utilizing different weapons such as Guard Bow and Firesweep Bow, Rebecca can take on and perform decently in both an offensive and defensive role. Thanks to the introduction of weapon refinery, combining Guard Bow with Distant Defense can allow her to specialize as a mage tank by boosting her magical bulk to a total of 82 when initiated on. This is made even more effective, as Rebecca’s Speed is high enough to avoid most follow-up attacks.
Overall, Rebecca doesn’t do much to stand out among other archers. She is often outclassed offensively by units such as Bridal Cordelia and Brave Lyn as well as defensively by units such as Innes and Faye due to their more optimized statlines.
Strengths
Fairly Good Speed
At a base value of 34, Rebecca’s Speed is just high enough for her to potentially avoid most follow-up attacks with a little support from buffs such as Spur Speed.
Versatile
Since her stat spread is overall fairly balanced, Rebecca can perform with multiple skill-sets such as Firesweep Bow for a more offensive approach or Guard Bow if one desires to turn her into a mage tank.
Good Availability
As a unit in the 4* pool, it is fairly easy to get multiple copies of Rebecca. In turn, this makes her easier to merge as well as get optimal IVs on.
Weaknesses
Subpar Attack
At a base value of 29, Rebecca struggles to defeat her opponents in a single round of combat. This even holds true against some mages, as she is reliant on a +ATK IV in order to kill Reinhardt in a single round of combat.
Poor Bulk
Rebecca’s Def/Res bulk is 58/64. Not only does this make her susceptible to getting OHKO’d by physical opponents, she will also take severe damage from magic enemies as well.
Requires High Investment
Due to most of her base kit being useless, Rebecca requires a lot of skill inheritance to reach her full potential. Some of the aforementioned skills are rare and only available from 5* exclusive units such as Firesweep Bow (Faye) and Distant Defense (Celica, Rhajat, Performing Olivia).
Team Options
Counters
A trait shared among all colorless units is getting hard-countered by Triangle Adept/Raven Tome wielding mages. On top of this, physically bulky units can shrug off Rebecca’s attacks will little effort and potentially kill her on their counterattack should they have the skill Distant Counter. Finally, powerful offensive units can easily shred through Rebecca’s meager defenses if given the opportunity to engage.
- Triangle Adept/Raven Tome Mages: Robin(M), Cecilia, and Performing Inigo are are all strong counters to Rebecca. In addition to this, physically bulky Raven Tome wielding mages such as Sophia and Boey can forego Triangle Adept. This allows they to wall off Rebecca even if she runs Cancel Affinity.
- Physical Tanks: Effie, Adult Tiki, Zelgius, Hector, and Lukas can soak up Rebecca’s attacks with little to no damage taken as well as potentially killing her on the counterattack should they run Distant Counter.
- Powerful Offensive Units: In opposition to Firesweep Bow, strong initiators such as Reinhardt, Brave Lyn, Ayra, and Bridal Cordelia can all serve as reliable counters to Rebecca.

Rebecca is an amazing unit. With high speed even with Brave Bow+, she manages to quad quite a lot. With Fury chipping away at her HP every turn, you can get into Desperation range with only a few attacks. Savage Blow allows her to chip away at the other units she may not be able to kill right away. Luna is the obvious choice for a special, and Draw Back is just for movement options. You can really put any movement skill on her and it'll work. Can confirm, I use this exact build. Finally, Atk+3 helps shore up her pathetic attack, and having 30 res allows her to deal with mages.
