+IV

  • With a nice amount of speed, Rebecca can capitalize on it with a +Speed boon to avoid follow-ups from fast units.

  • If in any case you would like to use a Brave Bow+ set, a +Attack IV can help redeem her low-ish attack.

-IV

  • Both a -Resistance and -Defense IV are great choices for Rebecca, though it should be kept in mind that the former choice gives Iceberg less power, making Luna the better special skill.

  • Special: Iceberg / Luna
  • A Slot: Fury / Swift Sparrow / Life & Death
  • B Slot: Swordbreaker / Lancebreaker / Up to player
  • C Slot: Defense Ploy / Threaten Defense
  • Sacred Seal: Speed +3

To capitalize on Rebecca's speed without going to route of 0x4 with the Brave Bow, the Firesweep Bow+ is used instead.

Her A slot is dependent on the player's style. Fury grants her a decent amount of speed while giving her more leeway to work with her effective HPs. Swift Sparrow attempts to emulate Life & Death's offensive prowess, though does not grant Rebecca any speed to deny follow-ups. Both of these cases are recommended with Iceberg. Lastly, Life & Death gives Rebecca great offensive prowess, though the reduction in physical defense is actually fatal, and she enters the territory of being one-hit killed. Luna is recommended for such as skill.

Her B slot is completely up to the player. If you really do not know what to put on her, Swordbreaker will always be useful due to containing among the fastest units out there. Lancebreaker works too, should you be afraid of Life & Death Firesweep Lance users.

For her finaly slot, Defense Ploy is taken, though any Ploy variant will suffice. However, Threaten Defense is highly recommended if going the Life & Death route.

Her Sacred Seal will be used for Speed +3, since Firesweep users want to double as often as they can.

Show Explanation/Analysis
  • Preferred Nature: +Speed / -Defense
  • Weapon: Refreshing Bolt+ / Slaying Bow+
  • Assist: Dual Rally (Arena Score) / Draw Back / Flexible
  • Special: Iceberg / Luna
  • A Slot: Fury / Close Counter
  • B Slot: Quick Riposte
  • C Slot: Defense Ploy / Threaten Defense
  • Sacred Seal: Distant Defense

A bit more of a generalist set which aims to both initiate and counterattack, this build aims to give Rebecca all-rounded options.

Despite being unavailable for use, the Refreshing Bolt+ is one of the best Bows in the game. But since it's unrealistic to acquire due to being limited, the Slaying Bow+ can be chosen for its cooldown reduction and nice Might, making it a good Bow in general.

Iceberg and Luna depend on the player's preference. The former aids more in dealing with low-defense heroes who just won't die, and the latter for high-defense ones like Armoured units.

Fury and Close Counter. The former gives Rebecca better bulk and offense, and the latter takes advantage of the strength she possesses over heroes in her category, which is the ability to take a physical hit.

Quick Riposte gives Rebecca the guarantee for a follow-up, and with her good speed, she will deny them herself. A pretty good trade.

Her Sacred Seal is occupied by Distant Defense to cement herself as a resistance-focused Archer, giving her better bulk against Mages (and Archers/Dagger units, too).

Brave Bow + A Life and Death 3
Budget: Death Blow 3

SP2,100SSpeed +3

Show Explanation/Analysis
  • Preferred Nature: +Speed or +Attack / -Defense or -Resistance
  • Weapon: Brave Bow+
  • Assist: Dual Rally (Arena Score) / Draw Back / Flexible
  • Special: Luna / Iceberg
  • A Slot: Life & Death / Swift Sparrow / Death Blow
  • B Slot: Desperation / Melee Breaker Skill
  • C Slot: Threaten Defense
  • Sacred Seal: Speed +3 / Attack +3

The classic Brave set. Not entirely recommended due to Rebecca's low attack, and better suited to other Archers.

But.. it's still a great weapon, and has the ability to cheese PvE content.

There are two paths you can choose with this set: Power or Quads. The former is for an attempt to redeem Rebecca's attack; The latter to work with what she's already good with. Of course, power helps with single bursts of Brave hits, granting 6 more damage. However, quads will widen Rebecca's range of targets to be affected by the x4 hit, as well as having better speed than straight up power. In the end, the choice is yours.

If Life & Death is chosen, Luna must be taken. In other cases, Iceberg is better, as it will grant consistent bonus damage. To avoid being one-hit killed by any physical unit in the game, the A slot Life & Death should only be used with a -Resistance IV.

Desperation should be taken if a quad build is prefered, to deal those last two hits without being smacked in the face by the pommel of a sword. Melee Breaker skills such as Lancebreaker and Swordbreaker work fine too, allowing Rebecca to act as a hard counter to them.

Threaten Defense is taken for the extra damage, and is simple to use against all kinds of units except ranged ones.

Rebecca's Sacred Seal slot will depend on which path you've chosen. Attack +3 for 6 more damage with the Brave Bow, or Speed +3 for less chances to be doubled, as well as a wider range of enemies to quad.

Introduction

Pros:

  • Good damage soaking potential, possessing nice defenses and speed

Cons:

  • Offensively outclassed by other Archers in her niche (Gaius and Innes)

Rebecca, the Wildflower, is an Archer belonging in the category of "magically resistant heroes", along with Niles, Gaius, Innes, and Faye.

Compared to Archers of her category, Rebecca possesses her own set of strengths and weaknesses. For instance, she's much better at taking damage than Innes and Gaius, despite their overall better stats. This is because of Rebecca's combined physical defense and HP. They are very likely to die in one hit from anything sharp and pointy; Rebecca has the ability to survive.

So, to recap, Rebecca is outclassed by those two Archers in everything except physical bulk.

Overall, the Wildflower is an Archer with good all-rounded stats working in her favor, despite being outclassed in offense by her peers. As a 4 star Archer, she is relatively budget, and is a good investment. Depending on which build you decide to use, that is.

Strengths
  • Nice Speed

    • Rebecca's 34 speed, while slightly slower than the common speedy hero, has enough potential to bring her high enough with other fast units.
    • She will often double her enemy, too.
  • Good defensive soak

    • In order to one-hit kill Rebecca, the enemy will need 58 physical attack.
    • As for magical units, they will instead require 64 magical attack. However, do keep in mind that Blade Mages in themed teams (Summer Corrin, Olwen, etc.) can easily reach this value.
Weaknesses
  • Lower Attack than other Archers
    • Not reaching the 30 attack mark, Rebecca's attack will miss many more kills than the other Archers if using a Brave Bow+ build.
    • While it is indeed possible to quad-strike the enemy, do keep in mind that Rebecca will not be able to take out decently fast heroes with good defense, such as Lon'qu, Ayra, and even Lyn, all because of her inability to quadruple hit them, as well as Rebecca's low attack.
Team Options

Straight away, as with all physical units, Brave Lucina is a fantastic addition to any team, and that includes those with Rebecca.

You can rest assured that Rebecca can likely deal with the low-defense Mages, and will need support in order to deal with physically bulky units. In that sense, running Rebecca with a Dragon or a Mage is not a bad idea.

Counters

Other than the very obvious Triangle Adept Raven Tome Mages which naturally counter any and all colourless units, Rebecca will have a tough time facing units with good or great defense due to her naturally low attack and the Bow's lower Might, which shares such a trait with all 2-range weapons.

Example of bulky Heroes and Heroines:

And so on, so forth.

There is also the universal counter to everything with low physical defense: Brave Weapon wielders.
