|Regal Blade||A||Fury 3|
|Reciprocal Aid||B||Desperation 3|
|Moonbow||C||Threaten Spd 3|
Fury gives Lloyd an offensive spread of 51/37 in attack and speed, with an extra +2 to both if his foe is at full HP. This makes him a strong user of Desperation, though he may want another unit providing speed buffs to ensure that he has enough speed for some KOs. Moonbow is slightly stronger than Iceberg, but Iceberg will do fine if SP is a concern. Fury can be replaced with Swift Sparrow or Life and Death if available, and if Lloyd will have another way to reach the HP threshold for Desperation. Reciprocal Aid is preferred over Ardent Sacrifice as Lloyd would need to use Ardent Sacrifice twice to reach the threshold. C slot is flexible.
|Regal Blade||A||Distant Counter|
|Moonbow||C||Threaten Spd 3|
This set focuses on making Lloyd a dedicated mage killer by investing Distant Counter and Vantage. His high speed allows him to avoid follow-ups from most mages, putting him past the threshold for Vantage and enabling him to KO them on the following turn. This set synergises well with Regal Blade, as Lloyd should consistently get the +2 boosts from full health enemies. Moonbow is slightly stronger than Iceberg again, but either special is fine. Support and C slot skills are flexible.

- Strong offensive stat spread
- Unique 16 might weapon
- Surprisingly high resistance
- Can't be hindered by boon/bane
- Faces a lot of competition for his role
- Awful defense for a melee unit
- Needs a lot of help from Skill Inheritance
The White Wolf Lloyd is a red swordsman with pretty straight-forward stats. 32 attack, 35 speed and a unique 16 might weapon makes him a strong attacker, and a solid 30 res makes him a good mage-killer compared to other sword wielders. Skill Inheritance allows him to replace some of his poor base kit, and he has strong options for an A slot skill in Fury and Distant Counter. Unfortunately, the Regal Blade's unique effect doesn't do enough to make Lloyd stand out from the countless other red sword-wielders, and his offensive stats are weaker than the top choices like Ryoma and Lucina. Nevertheless, Lloyd can be a powerful addition to teams looking for an offensive sword-wielder that can hold their own against mages.
Lloyd's solid offensive stat line of 32/35 makes him a respectable offensive unit, and wielding a legendary weapon gives him a slight edge over other similar units. The Regal Blade is an interesting weapon, in that it buffs Lloyd's attack and speed when the enemy is at full HP. This makes him a strong candidate for a build utilising Desperation in order to ORKO enemy units from full health. Lloyd's high resistance makes him a stronger choice than Fir for a mage-killer; an un-invested, neutral attack Fir will have 12 less attack than Lloyd thanks to his base stats and weapon alone.
Unfortunately, Lloyd's low defense labels him as a mage-killer rather than a duelist. He struggles to hold his own against other melee units that can match his speed, and any enemy that can make follow-ups against him will KO him with ease. His base kit leaves a lot to be desired as well: Iceberg is a great special skill considering his stats, but Pass is near useless and Threaten Atk could be better. He faces stiff competition from other sword users as well, many of whom will perform better against other melee units.
