One of the biggest benefits of Nameless Blade is that Fir can now easily activate Iceberg or Glacies on any given combat while still benefiting from +10 damage on Specials. There is powerful synergy between Warding Breath, refined Nameless Blade, and Iceberg - Fir can activate Iceberg immediately after being attacked once, and potentially add +20 damage on top of that (if she enters Wrath’s HP threshold after that attack). This results in massive damage retaliation, and can wipe out a huge portion of non-blue units - red or colorless enemies need 83 physical bulk to survive an unbuffed and unsupported Fir’s Wrath-powered Iceberg.
This combo gets even more potent with either the Quick Riposte of Quickened Pulse seals. Quick Riposte can allow Fir to activate Iceberg twice in a single combat if she gets doubled. Quickened Pulse allows Fir to run Glacies instead of Iceberg, resulting in a whopping 93 damage nuke, or +48 damage (Glacies with Warding Breath, refined Nameless Blade, and Wrath).
Warding Breath is key to this build, as the accelerated Special charge can result in instant Special activations. The +4 Resistance is a great benefit as well, as it further increases Iceberg or Glacies damage. Steady Breath is an acceptable alternative; although Defense isn’t quite as important as Resistance, the accelerated Special charge is the most important aspect.
Wrath is a powerful component of this set, as not only does it grant +10 damage to Specials when in the 75% HP threshold, but it also reduces the Special cooldown by 1 every turn (assuming Fir is within the HP threshold) - this can allow Fir to pull off Glacies nukes multiple times. If Wrath is unavailable, then Swordbreaker or Quick Riposte are both acceptable alternatives. The Close Def seal is a good choice if running Quick Riposte as a B skill.
Def Ploy is an excellent skill that makes great use of Fir’s strong Resistance stat - debuffing enemy Defense makes it that much harder for them to survive a Special nuke.

With the introduction of Nameless Blade, Fir no longer has to choose between Slaying Edge and Wo Dao for her weapon - now she can effectively have both at the same time. The combination of reduced Special cooldown as well as +10 damage on Special activations makes her Specials significantly more potent than ever before. She can get +35 damage on a Special activation from Iceberg, refined Nameless Blade, and Wrath; this massive burst damage is a huge increase to her offensive potential.
The choice between Iceberg and Glacies is mostly dependent upon the level of available team support. With only 36 base Speed (without a +SPD boon), Fir is vulnerable to getting doubled by speedy units. If she can get Speed buffs from her team to avoid getting doubled, then Iceberg is a better choice to ensure a Special activation. Glacies is a big boost in damage, but relies either on Fir getting doubled or receiving Infantry Pulse support (if not doubled) to be able to activate.
Distant Counter is vitally important to allow Fir to safely deal with mages by baiting and killing them on the counter. Fir is particularly well suited for this, thanks to her high Resistance. On a budget, however, Fury is easily workable.
Wrath will increase the damage that Fir can deal with her specials, which are already the key to her damage output. It is best paired with the Quick Riposte seal so that Fir will be able to secure doubles against even the speediest of enemies. Otherwise, Quick Riposte can be run in Fir’s B slot, paired with the Distant Def seal. Swordbreaker is also an option if running Fury for a budget set.
Def Ploy works very well for Fir, as it allows her to utilize her high resistance stat at all times. While it is incredibly potent, it is not strictly necessary for this build, and can be changed out for any other C slot as preferred.
Introduction
Fir is an archetypal myrmidon unit, with high speed and low attack. One of her distinguishing traits is her high resistance. While normally her resistance isn’t particularly useful considering that she’s a melee unit, skills like Def Ploy and Distant Counter allow her to make use of it and specialize in countering mages.
The combination of Fir’s high speed and resistance allow her to consistently activate specials, which serve as the majority of her damage. This is vitally important as her low attack results in her having difficulty damaging any unit with decent defense.
With the introduction of Nameless Blade, Fir has experienced a significant jump in effectiveness. She no longer has to choose between Slaying Edge or Wo Dao - now she can easily activate Iceberg or Glacies every combat while also stacking +10 damage on top of them. As a result, she is now capable of damage output that rivals even the strongest sword units. Unfortunately, she is still outclassed in other ways, such as having lower Speed than the likes of Ayra and Mia. Regardless, Fir is now a powerful sword nuker that can take advantage of her strong Resistance to set her apart from most other sword units.
Strengths
Nameless Blade
Fir’s shiny new Prf weapon allows her to receive the benefits of a Slaying Edge and Wo Dao simultaneously - this results in quick and exceptionally powerful Iceberg or Glacies activations, which can easily make up for her low Attack.
High Magical Bulk
Fir has 72 magical bulk at neutral, making her extremely resilient against mages and dragons. Her decent Resistance also makes her a great user of Ploys (particularly Def Ploy).
Great Availability
Fir’s availability as a 3-4* summonable unit makes her exceptionally easy to pull and obtain optimal IVs for.
Weaknesses
Awful Attack
At 25 base, Fir has the lowest attack of all sword users, tied with Caeda and Selena, resulting in her being almost entirely reliant on special activations to deal damage.
Special Activation Reliant
As a consequence of her low attack, Fir is almost completely reliant on special activations to deal damage. This means that any unit running Guard will be nearly immune to Fir’s damage output.
Requires Heavy Investment
Although the skills to turn Fir’s stat spread into a workable build exist, they are mostly locked to 5* exclusive units (Hector for Distant Counter, Nephenee for Wrath) or limited units (Arvis or Summer Gaius for Def Ploy, Legendary Ike for Warding Breath).
Outclassed
Unfortunately for Fir, she shares a role with some of the strongest units in the game, such as Mia and Ayra. While Fir has a niche thanks to her high magical bulk and Nameless Blade, Mia and Ayra still have enough that they can essentially do what Fir excels at, all while being extremely powerful in other areas that Fir is not.

Phyiscal Tanks: Physically bulky units like Zelgius, Xander, and Lukas can easily tank Fir’s attacks and take very little damage outside of special activations.

Any physically bulky unit running Guard will be completely immune to Fir’s attacks. In particular, units like Lukas and Shiro can afford to run Guard in their kits, and will completely stonewall Fir.

Strong Physical Damage: Fir has decent physical bulk, but she can’t handle powerful physical damage-dealing threats very well, particularly blue units like Effie, Ephraim, and Cordelia.

Strong Blue Mages: Despite Fir’s strong magical bulk, powerful blue mages like Reinhardt or blue blade tome mages like Linde or Summer Corrin can overpower Fir’s high magical bulk thanks to weapon triangle advantage.
- Debuffers: Dedicated debuffer units like Lute, Arvis, Spring Sharena, and Gunnthrá can severely debilitate Fir’s stats, resulting in a significant decrease in effectiveness.

This build makes great use of Fir's resistance stat and allows her to retaliate against mages. +Atk is highly recommended, as her attack is rather low and its a superboon, providing +4 to her attack. Her new legendary weapon that she shares with Karel was hidden under the radar, boosting her viability of having a killer effect but also gaining a wo dao effect with +10 special damage bonus.

An uncommon Fir, who has chosen to go with a -spd bane.
Since we all know how bad her attack is (at first glance), I've decided to give her a new role, a tank who could withstand any attacks.
With her +10 stats, Fir has crazy amount of bulk. With 31/37 defensive stats along with 50 hp and 42 spd, she is almost impossible to be OTKO. And this is not including summoner support, which bump the number up to 55/55/54/33/40 respectively.
Builds
Slaying edge+ (spd / def / res refined, swapped as needed). Her default weapon which help speeding up her special, to make her excel at tanking everything and kill them the next turn. Also, she could go with Armor smasher+ (spd / def / res) for extra fire power in arena.
Special: Pavise / Sacred cowl (swap as needed). This is what defined the build. With the -1 cooldown and her high speed, it's almost a guarantee to have the skill available 24/7. This two skills make her the great wall.
A: Fury / Distant Counter, depends on the special. Fury is the most obvious choce since Fir need all the stats. Nothing could be throw away since she have to tank mixed damage. The recoil damage, most of the time, cause her more harm than the actual damage from enemies. For those longer battle, Distant Counter is preferred.
B: Shield Pulse, another build defining skill. With this skill, Fir would have her special available at the first turn. This is great for short battles since she'd have her special available forever. But for Rival Domain, other skills might be a better idea. Obstruct is actually a good choice for the said mode since it's allow her to be an actual wall, blocking attacks while having healers repairs the great wall.
C: Def ploy, with her 38 res, it's almost a guarantee to debuf most opponents. With -5 def, Fir'd have a lot higher chance to kill the attackers the next turn, or weaken them for her friends. Even a great blue armor would be downed.
SS: Attack+3, the more the merrier.
SS: Quick Riposte, for her Distant Counter variation, this is preferred since <40 spd is not really enough to guarantee followup attack in the arena.
What the great wall of Fir could do?
Battle most reds with ease. The most fearful foes for the Fir are Ayra and Mia. Especially when they come with swordbreaker.
Greens are snacks.
Blue are somewhat problem. She could still served her great wall role, but having harder time killing them. So extra fire power is required. Either from effective weapon (armor smaher, zanbato) or attack buff from friends.
Fast colorless are the most problem since she might not be able to kill then easy enough. extra buff might be required.
Armors are actually easier for her to kill. The tankiest blur armor could have taken 30x2 damage with her debuf.
Red and blue Dragons are the hardest to take care with since Fir 55 attack is not really enought to easily handle them. It'd take a few battles to takes them down. A sword breaker dragons are a no-no for her.
The greatest enemy:
Full buff Reinhardt. period. Fir'd need all the defense option to survive his attack, +res weapon, +res buff from friends, defensive tiles etc. And those might not be enough for the QP Moonbow variation, or SwordBreaker variation, which is just a dead sentence.
F. Corrin. She got 3 from 4 of the Fir greatest weakness

Fairly self explanatory. Slaying Edge over Wo Dao allows her to proc Iceberg more cleanly if in Desperation range. Flashing Blade works on most units barring fast ones like Ayra or Mia and is the linchpin here. Wrath boosts Iceberg's power to decent levels, but Desperation allows for easier engagements in Player Phase. Spd Smoke is used to lower speed and increase doubling chances and Flashing Blade activation. Phantom Speed is used to increase Flashing Blade chances.
On budget, a Wo Dao can be used instead if Flashing Blade is not used and is best paired with Fury, which speaking of is a decent but not entirely solid substitute. Threaten Spd is a decent budget option for those not looking to roast Sigurd, and a speed seal is equally acceptable in the seal slot.

I don't know why it works but it just does.
This is a Summoner Support Fir, also a refined Wo Dao+ that boosts res thats why she has the stats she does.
Steady Breath Fir comes at a cost of not being good in the player phase but does surprisingly well in the enemy phase due to Glacies.
Vantage helps in case you have Glacies ready but you're on the defensive.
Threaten Atk just means that Fir may live a bit longer.
And Res+3 just to make Glacies hit harder.

Uses Atk+3 Seal
A pseudo-medic build. Comparable to Lucina but with less attack and more bulk, especially in resistance allowing her to take advantage of Def Ploy. 31/31 defenses with 39 speed makes it very difficult for most things to ORKO Fir. Still be wary of Ayra and Mia. This spread makes her both a nice player and enemy phase unit. Sol combined with Wo Dao's effect and Def Ploy allows her to recover significant amounts of HP. Along with Renewal it makes it quite difficult to take her down.
Noontime can be used in place of Sol, sacrificing recovery for more consistent damage. Reciprocal Aid can work in place of Ardent Sacrifice. Whichever you pick should be based on the team. If Fir's teammate's have significantly more HP than her, Reciprocal Aid won't be as useful.
Wo Dao+ (+Def) is used instead of Wo Dao+
(+Atk) because it's a net gain of 13 to her stat total with the Atk+3 Seal compared to a net gain of 11 if you use Wo Dao+ (+Atk) with the Def+3 seal.
Update: After testing I've found Noontime to be much better for Arena and Sol for chain style gamemodes.
