Boons
- +SPD: A Speed boon is an excellent choice to provide her with coverage offensively and defensively by enhancing her ability to perform and deny follow-up attacks.
- +ATK: In addition to pairing well with Veronica’s offensively oriented stat line, an Attack boon helps increase the amount of damage she can heal, strengthening her ability to support her allies substantially.
Neutral
- HP: To avoid detracting from her already low overall bulk, it is recommended to leave Veronica’s HP stat at neutral, though it can be a serviceable bane should no other option be available. Also, keep in mind that taking an HP boon is the only way for her to reach the 145-149 BST bin in Arena should scoring be one’s top priority.
Banes
- -DEF / RES: Both of Veronica’s defensive stats are incredibly low but thanks to her access to skills such as her personal staff, Hliðskjálf, and Dazzling Staff, either can be lowered without causing a large detriment to her overall performance.

Veronica’s unique staff, Hliðskjálf, is an extremely strong supportive weapon -- on top of granting her the coveted Dazzling Staff effect, it allows her to safely apply debuffs on her opponents while simultaneously buffing her own allies. This weapon, in combination with her impressive offenses and superior cavalry mobility, allow Veronica to act as a frighteningly powerful support unit while still possessing considerable offensive potential. An Attack boon is ideal should one wish to focus more on her supportive capabilities while a Speed boon is better to capitalize on her damage output instead; ultimately, however, both are fantastic choices.
Her native Recover+ works excellently as an all-around reliable healing skill, though Physic+ can also be a suitable substitute to extend the range of her healing abilities. For her Special, Veronica’s native Windfire Balm+ is a rather strong option and allows her to offer all of her teammates with a substantial +6/+6 Atk/Spd buff upon its activation; however, keep in mind that this can potentially be redundant with the buffs she already provides thanks to Hliðskjálf. Heavenly Light may also be considered to provide her allies with a teamwide heal upon activation as opposed to providing a buff. Alternatively, one can utilize Miracle to grant Veronica some leeway as it allows her to escape being killed by a fatal blow just once.
Atk/Spd Solo is her ideal A slot as it gives her the most favorable boost to her offenses so long as she has no adjacent allies, a requirement that is extremely easy to meet considering the fact she will typically be away from her teammates when on the offensive. Atk/Spd Push is also a strong option that similarly enhances her offensive potential and is best paired with the Live to Serve seal, as the skill's powerful effect is only active when she is at 100% HP. If either is unavailable, Attack +3 and Speed +3 are both fine choices for her A slot skill to boost her offenses. As Hliðskjálf already comes with built-in Dazzling Staff, Veronica is free to use her native Wrathful Staff to very potent extents, as the deathly combination allows her unrestricted use of her strong offenses while being able to freely attack opponents without worry of being killed in retaliation.
Veronica’s C slot is flexible and is open to a variety of different skills depending on what her allies’ needs are. If using her amongst other cavalry units, buffs such as Hone Cavalry will be preferred, though it might be better to utilize in-combat buffs like Goad Cavalry to avoid redundancy with the buffs provided by Hliðskjálf; this, however, can be very easily made a non-issue with smart play. Savage Blow can also be suitable to use as her chosen C slot skill (and potentially her seal as well) to stack chip damage on top of her debuffs, debilitating entire teams with just one strike. Otherwise, her native Close Guard is a formidable choice as well to strengthen her allies’ resilience against melee opponents. Should both the Savage Blow and Live to Serve seals be unavailable, the Attack +3 and Speed +3 seals can be used instead to strengthen her offenses.

- Special: Windfire Balm+ / Heavenly Light
- Passive A: Atk/Spd Push / Attack +3 / Speed +3
- Passive B: Wings of Mercy / Wrathful Staff
- Passive C: Savage Blow
- Sacred Seal: Savage Blow
This build ditches Veronica’s unique staff in exchange for the more commonly used Pain+ staff, gaining the ability to deal significant amounts of chip damage in lieu of the ability to apply debuffs on her opponents. However, aside from a few minor alterations, this build plays very similarly to the first and aims to capitalize on Veronica’s versatility as an offensive supportive unit. As such, boons to her Attack and Speed stats are again recommended to bolster her offensive potential.
The crux of this build lies in the choice of her weapon, C slot, and seal. By utilizing the Dazzling Pain+ staff and Savage Blow in both her C and seal slot, Veronica is capable of inflicting up to 24 points of chip damage to opponents around her initial target, allowing her to team to then come and sweep the now-weakened opponents; this is especially effective when utilized against defensive tanks as they commonly rely on their ability to stay above certain HP thresholds, such as that of Quick Riposte, to function properly.
For her healing skill, Recover+ and Physic+ again make for excellent choices, with the choice between which to use ultimately coming down to player preference. Windfire Balm and Heavenly Light are excellent team-supportive options for her Special that can potentially help her allies get out of a close pinch. Atk/Spd Solo is ideal to grant her the most favorable increase to her offensive potential, although Atk/Spd Push is also a good option when utilized in tandem with the Live to Serve seal. Otherwise, Attack +3 and Speed +3 are suitable budget options. As for her B slot skill, Wings of Mercy is a fantastic support skill that can help extend Veronica’s range further and appear directly next to weakened allies, who can then take advantage of her healing capabilities. However, should one wish to focus entirely on Veronica’s offenses, then her native Wrathful Staff works perfectly as her chosen B slot skill.
Introduction
Finally making her debut as a playable unit, Brave Veronica enters the game as an offensive staff cavalry unit, directly comparable to the likes of other offensive staff units such as Elise and Maribelle. Similarly to the aforementioned units, Veronica possesses an impressive offensive stat spread of 32/36 as well as excellent mobility and access to cavalry buffs. However, one main differentiator between them is Veronica’s personal weapon, Hliðskjálf. In addition to coming with built-in Dazzling Staff, Hliðskjálf’s other effect packs a serious punch, allowing her to simultaneously debuff her opponents and buff her own allies. This combination of factors is what makes Veronica truly shine and act as one of, if not the strongest staff user in the game.
However, despite these well-defined strengths, she is not without her fair share of weaknesses. Her low BST -- a consequence of her status as a staff AND cavalry unit -- makes her an overall liability to one’s score in Arena should she not have the necessary merges and investment. Moreover, her statline’s strong focus on her offenses left her defenses out to dry, rendering her helpless against sustained offensive presence. Nevertheless, Veronica can still demonstrate to be a surprisingly versatile unit and is capable of holding her own as a powerful support unit, both in and out of cavalry-centric teams.
Strengths
Strong Offenses
Veronica’s base offensive spread of 32/36 is rather impressive for a unit of her class typing and lets her deal a significant amount of damage, even without making use of skills such as Savage Blow.
Hliðskjálf
The first unique staff to be usable by the player, Hliðskjálf is a potent supportive weapon that lets Veronica debuff opponents and provides her allies’ with buffs at the same time. With proper use, it is entirely plausible to debilitate entire teams with just one of Veronica’s attacks.
Dazzling + Wrathful Staff
Her status as a healer grants her access to the coveted Dazzling + Wrathful Staff combination, acting as a way to circumvent the damage penalty applied to staff units as well as her low overall bulk by canceling out all counterattacks.
Cavalry
In addition to gaining access to cavalry-exclusive buffs, Veronica’s status as a cavalry unit offers her unparalleled mobility and range, thus strengthening her supportive capabilities by allowing her to reach and help allies from even the furthest of distances.
Weaknesses
Low BST
As a result of being both a staff and cavalry unit, Veronica suffers from a steep cut to her BST. Not only does this limit the amounts of stats she has to distribute, her low BST causes her to lower one’s score in Arena without the prerequisite investment and merges.
Low Overall Bulk
Her stat spread’s focus on her offenses leaves her with little wiggle room when it comes to her defenses, resulting in her having very low overall bulk. Though Dazzling Staff makes this not as significant of a weakness as it is for other units, this does make it absolutely imperative that she is left out of harm’s way in the Enemy Phase.
Team Options
Counters
- Strong Offense: Veronica’s low overall bulk makes her an easy target to take down when faced with units who possess strong offenses. Several notable examples include the likes of Shigure, Raven, and Soleil.
- Raven Tome Mages: Raven tome mages such as Lyon, Sophia, and Robin (M) can also make quick work of Veronica thanks to their inherent advantage against colorless units such as her.
- High Resistance Tanks: High Resistance tanks such as Sheena, Halloween Henry, and Felicia can easily take the brunt of her attacks despite her strong offenses due to their exceptional magical resilience; however, such units should be wary of Veronicas running Savage Blow and/or Pain+.

Restore+ could be a good option to the support skill. However it is not so much beneficial to BV since it hurts a bit her survivability. Since most of the time she receives an attack she will fall under a lvl she can be knocked out with a next attack. The combination with life to serve 3 and miracle grants her a way to survive more time on battlefield.
When they make something about. I have no experience with boons or banes. But since this is my build with my F2P BVeronica I wanted to share it with you. It could get better if they give healers a way to reduce the time they charge coldowns to really abuse miracle. Some breath for healers could be nice.

With Calvary Buffs and Atk/Spd Push 3 active she can easily reach 57 Attack and 47 Speed. And because she wants to stay at 100% how, I decided to put LtS 3 on her seal so she can get back to 100% hp

Meant to be a Buffer and Debuffer for the Brave Team she's on. Works well with Brave Celica to keep her Quad able. She is merged twice. She's also very capable as a Healer, naturally, and Live to Serve keeps her Health up when her Summoner screws up and leaves her in danger because of those non-warning Dancers.

Offensive Support Brave Veronica
Hliðskjálf (Weapon)
Basically Peshkatz in a form of a Staff weapon and has built-in Dazzling Staff effect. This weapon is truly amazing of its own right and Brave Veronica's ideal weapon of choice.
Recover+ (Assist)
Very self-explanatory.
Windfire Balm+ (Special)
One of the newest addition to the game being a hybrid stat-boosting Special after a Staff unit heals an ally. This will grant all allies Atk/Spd+6. This compliments very well for Speed Demons like Ayra, Karla, Mia and so forth. As well as benefiting Bladetome users in general.
Spd/Res 2 (A-Slot)
Passively grants Spd/Res+2. Very self-explanatory.
Wrathful Staff 3 (B-Slot)
Her best skill that she naturally comes with. Also one of her best budget skill available. This will not only let her hit much harder, but with her main weapon also having Dazzling Staff effect, she is rendered untouchable whenever she initiates combat.
Close Guard 3 (C-Slot)
Another good budget skill she has. This skill in particular is better than Distant Guard that Legendary Lucina has as most threats are melee anyway.
Speed +3 (Sacred Seal)
Passively grants Spd+3. Very self-explanatory.
-----
Pros:
+ Considered to be the best free 5 Star unit, and rightfully so
+ Her main weapon is basically Peshkatz in a form of a Staff weapon with a Dazzling Staff effect
+ Excellent offensive stats, making her a very deadly offensive Staff unit overall
+ Naturally comes with Wrathful Staff, which let's her deal non-reduced damage to her enemies
+ Comes with a new Special skill, Windfire Balm+, which grants all allies Atk/Spd+6 after healing an ally
+ Makes GHB, BHB and LHB 10 times easier in her presence
+ Comes with an excellent base kit. All she needs is an A-Slot skill to fill that missing gap
+ Has very minimal weaknesses, outside of obvious ones
Cons:
- Has abysmal defensive stats and will most likely be 1HKO'd by many hard-hitting units
- Weak to Horseslaying weapons, ones she must watch out for the most
