Not everyone carefully studies every map before entering and adjusts their team to match. Nor should we have to.

It's a tactical game, in those cases like mentioned, the enemy tactics were superior (cheesy as all hell, but superior nonetheless).

And why not? Contests of strategy are contests of information. Knowing who and where your opponents are as well as what they're doing can make or break a maneuver or a strategy. It is true in RTS; it is true in poker; it is true in other turn-based strategy. Failure to understand this makes you weaker in the contest; refusal to accept this is foolhardiness.

Yeah, that does seem like an error. Hopefully they fix that. Having a map like that for a skill study map is one thing. Doing it on any kind of normal map is asking for people to complain about wasted stamina.

You don't need stamina for anything anyway, so I don't think a lot of people are going to complain.
