Question on Loki!

Answers

I feel like people hate her bc they feel she's the unnecessary "big tits fan service" character.

Same. She's just ridiculous. They're not even being subtle with that. It's like they think their playerbase is entirely made up of 13-year-old boys.

ETA: Actually, I do mind her personality, for the reasons other people point out below.

I think Loki is the base unit. Most of these stories with people who can shapeshift usually revert to their original form most often. I think she looks like that, yet can change.

For people that hate her, I understand. She's mostly a fanservice tease with a cookie cutter personality. If I wanted to make her it would take about 30 seconds. She's been overdone in so many forms of media and kind of done lazier than the others. She's the typical mysterious seductress. Not saying you can't like her, it's just obvious why people wouldn't like her.

I’m just getting tired of being hit on by my units ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whatever happened to good ol’ platonic comaradery?

Hideously large breasts aside, I like her character design. It’s just her personality that bugs me. Like RoyAhoy said, she’s a basic mysterious seductress, and a lazily done one at that.

Loki in Heroes got the Nasuverse treatment. Loki in his original mythology was a guy in his base/"default" form, but could turn into a girl through shapeshifting. In Heroes, Loki is a girl. She has a female voice actress, and the usual form we get of her in Heroes in any place of the game is the version we see as summonable. She may be able to shapeshift into a guy, but she's a girl by default.

Character-wise, I don't hate her, but I don't find her all that interesting, at least not yet. We know three things about her now:
1) She's a tactician: While she may have played some tricks, we haven't even seen her strategerie. Most strategizing done for Muspell was from Laegjarn
2) She's a trickster and a tease: She's disguised herself and has been successful to some degree. In the current Forging Bonds and in her voice lines, her dialogue is flrty and innuendo laden. While I don't mind that as one aspect of a character, when it's prominent to the point of being the only notable aspect, then it leaves the character one-dimensional.
3) She's fanservice. Again, something I don't have a problem with. But consider this: At the point of her introduction was when the voting for CYL2 happened. All we knew about her was that she was a tactician for Muspell (but we haven't seen any of it at that point) and she was very, um, "gifted." I'm sorry, but you'd have a difficult time convincing me that a majority of people didn't vote for her because of her looks when there was nothing else going for her.

That being said, the Loki of this world clearly isn't done in the story, so I'll reserve full judgment about her for now, but until we get more, she doesn't interest me too much.
