I got her on one of my rerolls months back and I gave her a try before I went on my way rerolling again. I don't think she's as bad as most people say with the right SI and IVs, but -Spd will make it so much harder to use her because that's her primary stat it's probably not worth it
-Spd Lyn is kind of a killer because getting her below 50% and then watching her turn into beast incarnate is kind of her one niche. I'm not entirely sure how to salvage a -Spd one. She does have pretty good Res so a mage counter with DC would be great if it didn't involve a unique skill on one unit you don't want to sacrifice for her.
I think your best bet is to repair her speed with Darting Blow and then otherwise follow the Brash Assault build as it synergizes so well with her unique weapon.
Brash Assault synergizes with her niche, and -spd (like the one I have) is honestly the version of her that needs the skill most of all. Aside from that, Fury helps build her attack while preventing ORKOs on her and the recoil damage can get her into desperation+brash assault range. Her weaker attack compared to other sword lords means Threaten Def/Def Ploy and attack boosting support are particularly recommended support for her. Delthea, maybe? And she definitely prefers a damaging special, be it Moonbow or Iceberg (Vengeance is pretty bad even on a health tank like Ninian, in my experience)

Last time i got lyn (few months ago), I thought I pulled a bad character and restarted my game from the beginning... I regret it a bit ever since...
I just looked at her stats and honestly, if i were u, i would wish that she is +def -spd instead of +res - spd if i have to choose either one lol... Too bad fate didnt favor us...
But - spd is actually not that much of a bane if she runs brash assault imo.. since 37 is not high enough to ensure doubling on everyone, but feels like a waste to run brash assault with...
Her sword seems to be her main asset... So it becomes something I would want to center her build around...
Since lyn is someone who wishes to run at low health, fury may make it less risky for her to reach below the 50% that she needs and provides her with well rounded defensive stats.. But that also means less attack compared to deathblow or defiant attack...
As cliche as I sound, I do believe brash assault suits her build quiet well, since optimally, she does run at a very low health.... Otherwise, escape route can also be considered to make her more mobile.
Luna/moonbow seems to be a good special but so is vengeance/reprisal (which probably works better with fury), since they seem more consistent than moonbow/luna and she runs at low health anyways...
However, with fury, as she fight, she gets lower health, but as long as she would double and 2HKO her target with the built in desperation, she is safe...
Honestly, while her attack is somewhat similar to caeda, her attack is stronger than caeda, as the extra 1-8 mt from her personal weapon does make a difference depending on what kind of caeda u are comparing her with...

"Fate didn't favor us" haha so true. The reason I'm so chill about bad IVs... is because all I ever get is bad IVs. Usually +HP -Atk. I'm just glad I didn't get THAT on Lyn, lol.
My first reaction to Brash Assault on her page was "why the heck would I put that on a fast character" but the more I think about it, and the more I see it suggested, the more I realize it's a decent option.
Vengeance/Reprisal is a good idea for low health builds like Lyn seems to favor. I might try Iceberg too, since mine will have 32 res. Her native Galeforce is probably out.
I'll probably try her out for a while and get a "feel" for her before investing in her. I'm FTP too, so being mindful of budget is always appreciated. ^^"

Yeah the basic issue with Brash Assault is you have to a) take it as a B skill over a slew of other abilities and b) have to survive a hit at under 50% health in order to double someone. But with Desperation 2 built into her weapon, that corrects for that issue.
Thinking about it more, you might not even need to Darting Blow her. You'll just have to be slightly more cautious in getting her under 50% health.
Een if she's not going to make your Arena team, Desperation units are pretty advantageous in chain challenges.
Since your lyn is -spd you may as well consider a build with brash assault 3, where you basically always attack twice and thanks to Sol Katti (or Mani Katti I don't remember which she has) she will get the second attack in. A defiant skill or death blow and your choice of support, attack and C skills and she not be half bad. Or I'm just crazy with my crackpot builds.
