We'll have to wait and see. Infantry Duel might be locked to sepcific infantry like DB3 and Fury. If not... then yeah, screw it.

Also, since when was any part of the game supposed to be all armours except your own team if that's what you decide to play? Arena was originally designed so that you don't know what you're going to see before you enter the match.

The top tier of arena was infested with nothing but armors because armors score the highest, thats just how it is. Due to the score range youre given in the arena, you can just choose to not battle armors and take easy modes instead.

Armors are also the easiest units to kill, when you can actually use untis you like to get kills. Now if you care about arena score youre forced to use bonus units, which completely fucks the upper tiers because at some point players will have to deal with reinhardts and axuras while their only bonus unit is an alphonse that cant be merged.

Right, and my point was that BST-based scoring was always bogus, as bogus as bonus unit kills. They should get rid of both of these mechanisms. Now they've thrown a real curve ball at people by making a tunnel through the BST thing but not the bonus unit kills. If you want to beat Reinhardt with Alfonse you'll need some solid bait, like...death blow 4 Sheena or something (because you don't want to use DC). And you won't get screwed by a WoM Axzura because Reinhardt will be out of her range and Sheena won't hit back so you will successfully have baited Small Hands in for Alfonse to double him with death blow 4.

What a bunch of whining. I'm looking forward to an arena that rewards balanced teams and not just slapping armor effective weapons on your merges of choice.

Also this being an A Slot skill that is restricted by both color and movement type is going to be profoundly limiting.
