I really don't mind this question as it makes people think of how a specific unit needs refines and what they come up with.

I would save Goetia for Aversa whenever she gets released into this game, or she can have Aversa's Night which is a weaker version of Nosferatu. (I think it's the same as Nosferatu?)

Sophia needs a refine. She can have a Serpent Tome with either Bracing stance or Mirror Stance/Sturdy Stance. If she does get a refine.

Effie probably won't need a refine, but why not. She can get 'Effie's Lance' from Fates. It can deal 1.5x damage in the enemy phase and its special Refine can be Guard, which is active at any amount of Hp.

Hawkeye can also have a refine. He can have a weapon with built in Atk/Def bond. His special Refine can be an OwlTome effect.

I wasn't sure on who should get Goetia, so that's why I added the extra statement.

Sophia and Hawkeye I can agree with. Effie doesn't need it, but then again, why not?

No NO NO NOOOO, not Olwen, please, not her, her brother giving me too much troubles with deathblow 4 at +10, my Nowi at +2 with DD3 and warding breath can't survive. (Just give her spd boost so she can quad, like Setsuna)
Also i don't want raventome on Lyon, i hope IS will do something different, that would be great.
I would love something for Robin, maybe legendary owl tome with support skill (like chill spd), or maybe another buffing tome (same as M!Morgan's tome).
I also would like a refine for Lyon but different kind, something to make him strong allroundier, no more TA please, but i guess i can continue use owl+CC on him.

Lyon, Henry and the normal Robins really want refines.
Hell, Raven tomes in general should get refines, with these guys (or at least Lyon and the Robins) getting the special refined raven tomes.

Azura really is the most boring dancer, isn't she? At least Olivia is easy to merge.

There are a few GHB character that could do with a refine, but aside from Lyon; Berkut, Arvis and Saias are probably the ones I want most.

Also, I'd love to see Berkut get a refine, Kremhild with DC base and Warding Stance refine?

Well, DC would be kinda boring.
In Echoes Kriemhild gets boosted def/res and halves bows+magic damage.
While the halved damage is a bit too much, I can see this:
Normal effect +4 def/res in enemy phase.
Refined: If foes range = 2, lowers first attack by 30%.

I'd be okay with that, too.

Fin needs a refine. Who on gods green earth thought it would be a good idea to fucking shag him. Maybe Peshkatz will receive a refine since Veronica kind of powercreeps Sothe with (keysmash) having Dazzling Staff built into it

The only problem with Finn getting a refine is he's a Tempest Unit. (Masked Lucina is an exception because she appears more than once from the Tempest.) I agree, his lance was shagged and he deserves it back, but I doubt it will happen unless IS decides to do something crazy like bring back every Tempest Unit in one Tempest and give them refines.

Personally who I want to get a refine is Mia, because best girl. Does she need it? Not terribly, but it is a little sad how she's beginning to fly under the radar now after Karla and B!Celica releases. And have the refine just be built-in desperation or something. Again does she need it? No, but I'd love for her to get a refine.

Now legitimate units that could use a refine or prf weapon are any or all of the Whitewings, Setsuna, Oscar, and Mist. And yes I said Mist, so many people complain about being pity broken by her and how she should be demoted but hey what if instead of that they give her a prf staff instead!?

Mist really needs one, either that or she needs to be demoted.

I want to see her get a prf staff myself. Partly cause Tellius bias but also everyone just mentions her needing to be demoted but I don't ever see anyone consider her a possibility for a new weapon/staff. And Veronica now has a prf staff so it's not like she'd be the only one with a prf staff. Also she's one of two 5* healers I have, alongside Lachesis. At least until I get the 5* Ethlyn reward as well.

I was actually about to ask the same question, 2 units I would love to see get new weapons are F.Corrin and Setsuna (my only 5*+10 units) F.Corrin could get a breath Kinda like Water Breath but with Def/Spd instead since those are her 2 main stats she specializes in and w/ a refinement maybe kinda like Tiki's refinement but again with Def/Spd instead. Another reason why I want to see Setsuna get a new weapon is because she has a rather nice looking bow in her art, maybe give it Slaying effect and effective against either Infantry or Armor the later more for increasing her rather low atk stat w/ a Swift Sparrow refinement or something

The original Robins for sure. I got a 5* M!Robin day one, so he's kind of special to me as my first 5*. Probably a legendary raven tome with triangle adept for the refine, since TA is a pretty good option for raven tome users. Plus it would free up his A slot for other skills. I suppose Lyon could probably use a similar refinement too. Not quite sure about F!Robin though.

Well, it could be something like this:
Them getting a refine on the same time, making them the color trio of unique ravens (maybe alongside a refine for normal raventomes, they aren't that powerful now anyway)

But for Lyon, maybe he could get a skill similair to Leo on his weapon. Like: If res is higher than the foe, foe can't make followups.

Perhaps, although F!Robin has a wolf tome, Cecelia has the green raven tome. They are one of the generic weapons that needs to be refineable, poison dagger too and probably some others I can't think of right now.

Never got why posion dagger wasn't buffed.
5 might is just so damn horrible.

I know F!Robin doesn't have raven, but I feel like the Robins will probably get the same weapon in differend colors.

I want Deirdre and Sigurd to get refines because I want people to suffer. Sigurd gets Special Spiral, and Deirdre get Mirror Strike.

But more serious, mirror strike doesn't seem like something Deirdre could use all that well. A defence or support skill might fit het better.

Maybe her giving a buff+heal to her support partner at the start of the turn if they're in range?

Maybe we could get new unique skills on old units. That could be pretty nuts.

Another idea for Deidre; an effect like deadly dagger or something to give a kind of silence effect like her staff.

Henry getting a Legendary Tome would be cool, but I don’t think it would be Goetia. I think Seliph absolutely needs a refine along with Eliwood. Seth getting a refine would be amazing as well, but I think they’ll tend up ruining him even more like Titania. I’m pretty neutral about Lyon getting a refine, but I’d be fine with it.

for me deidre/julia need a tome that neglect every breath effect for dragons (so no counter attack with Lightning brath and no adaptive damage). sonya also really need a refine and also tana and innes.
i feel like mae would appreciate a new weapon (i was thinking about a 9mt thunder tome which could attack at 3 range if she is a 100 per cent hp).
