Cherche's axe

11 mt brave weapon on a unit with 38 atk. At that point, the refinemend is just a nice bonus, but not the main strenght.

I'm slightly salty she got an improved Brave Axe (spent feathers to promote... someone for a Brave Axe+ back few months ago) but it is really good and the refinement can be an answer to Garm, provided she has high enough HP.

She's not "unused", she's quite powerful/useful but is "used invisibily" as she's not armor and she's in the first batch of released units (lower bst), or because as an arena defense unit she's not as likely to get a kill/a surrender as is a ranged cavalry unit.

I definitely see her among friend's potential units in brigades (and I usually pick one, she's even more excellent a choice with the refine). Players do use her, just not in the capacity of arena defense.

Per your last question, no, the weapon is retconned onto old copies of her, unlearned. Her new axe is a 5-star exclusive PRF weapon, and she doesn't come as a 5-star unit in anything but Focus banners (she may be in an upcoming "New Power" banner soon). You just use SP to obtain.

Makes me glad I never really invested into one. Saved on fodder and shouldn't be too hard to build one up.

Her usage will go up a bit. Her weapon is a straight-up upgrade from what her usual set is. She's got a Pfr weapon instead of the regular BA which counts as a full point more if you're into arena. Three more attack power with the new weapon. And lastly, is refinable to give her Panic Ploy with an additional few points of HP to make it more usable.

She could be destructive because she had high attack with a brave axe. IS gave her more power in her strong suits and it'll show.

The main benefit I see from this new weapon is that it makes it a lot easier to invest into building Cherche.

She has always been a great user of the Brave Axe, but making the build was always annoying, since Brave Axe+ is locked to three 5 star units. Cherches' Axe is basically a much better Brave Axe, since it has 3 more Mt, and can be refined to get a Panic Ploy effect, which benefits her more since buffs have become a lot more prevalent.
