I think this tier list is correct in certain aspects and wrong in some others.

The tier list is made based on the opinions of the people that made it, so of course not everyone will agree with it.

Just because a unit is in Tier 7, or whatever the lowest tier is, doesn't mean that they can't be used on an Arena team to get into Tier 20+.

Basically, you shouldn't care about tier lists. Just use who you want.

If I'm not mistaken, the tier list is designed to prioritize the skewed scoring system, which means it is not a good tier list if combat potential is all you're looking at.

Why was Hardin moved down? He didn't get any worse because they added Ephraim and Hector.

It's because Brave Hector outshines him by a tiny bit in terms of arena potential, although I would agree that he should have stayed in tier 1 with him.

I don't understand Eirika's placement at all. Sieglinde's effect is way too strong to have her in the same tier as the likes of Ogma and Hana.

It is an Arena tier list, in other words, units with high BST and exclusive Skills get top billing end of story. If it had any value on combat effectiveness Catria should be (at least) Tier 4 if Sumia is Tier 3. A +Spd Catria and a +Atk Sumia yields a difference of 2 points in Attack and Speed, that is all. Unless the tier ranking really is that freaking tight (based on other units not likely to be the case).

Edit: I didn't bother to check and see they "updated" the tier list... Still pretty much a joke.

I hate this because it is obviously based on a combination of things with no consistence. Why is Zelgius above Hardin? Why are ranged cavalry above others on the tier list? Why is Reinhardt that high? Why is it Hector is with the others in tier 1? Why are the cavalry healers above the infantry ones? Why is it dancers are always ranked relatively high? I don't get it.
