From an Iron wall to a Balanced unit?

Lower defense and resistance compared to what he usually has is pretty welcome considering what he has as far as skills, I guess.

39 defense is lower than he normaly has, but it´s still gigantic. Look at Zelgius, he has 38 base defense and 21 Res. Hector´s Def is not low even compared to other armor units.

Did I get you right? 39 def is low for an armour? His native A-skill even grants +4 def on enemy phase.

Res is a superbane (his only one). His only superboon is Def, and he needs it to reach 175 BST. So hope for -Spd +Def or -HP +Def.

Ephraim has a Res superboon, though, and he needs it for 175, too. So his score optimal IV is -HP +Res, since Spd is a superbane.

...Low defense??? He literally has 39 def, only below Arden at 41 and LA Hector at 40. That's *really high* defense imo...
But anyway, it's really awesome that he has quite good res, he's gonna be a great mixed tank
