A dancer, you can never forgot the dancer. A dancer and Brave Weapon user is scary and intimidating when used in arena, it also clears up a massive bunch, especially with Galeforce, of units in a horrible place.

I have only experienced using brave bow and rein it's so cheap lol.

I use dancers sometimes,but not nearly as much as I use to,I find that spot taken by a healer now 😝.

The only unit that I use with galeforce is roy and man does it do damage on challenges takes out 3 units almost every turn with p azura.

Is this disregarding Arena's scoring constraints? Because I can't run Dancers or healers on those. Dancers are a must for most people, and it makes sense. Because of that, I want to build a 4*+10 Olivia.

I have a hard time playing without tanks. I like ranged desperation attackers or even melee attackers, but I feel the need to protect them.

I also don't like being without a ranged attacker with player phase ability. My Felicia uses QR, but she'll mix you up on her turn too if you're not quick or have mixed defenses. Just KO'd an undamaged Chrom+9 fifteen minutes ago in two hits. I don't like sitting around all day, which is maybe one reason I don't really like TT. So many maps are hard to open on player phase.

In chain modes I generally don't want to go without healers.

Never leave home without a mage. If I can’t take a mage, I’ll take a bow, but I like having a magic user who can drop down and murder those low res fools

I generally prefer to target people's res unless I have effective weaponry, a special coming (even just a moonbow), Raven levels of atk, or something like Karla's prf. It's the reason why I like manaketes.

Unless they're a mage, then usually I go for their def. W.Tharja is obvious exception.

And then there's Felicia, who covers both sides and gets around even deflect magic :D

Baiters i just can't play without em. Also i adore mages so if i have few to spare i always have spot for them
As for healers i rarely use them, i have hard times reserving a spot in team for them.
Dancers are great for GHB' s or any map realy but i can do just fine without them, at least if i'm not using weak team, otherwise they are essential.

A dancer, a tank and a mage. For Arena, a dancer and a heavy hitting mage, like Lilina or Summer Elise, usually with Hardy Bearing.

Maybe not a specific unit, but I can't use a team without all three colors of the weapon triangle. I know certain units are good at beating their own colors but I just don't feel right playing knowing I won't have that weapon advantage.

Arena aside, I LOVE to run a magical nuke in my parties since I'm mostly focussed around Flier Emblem. It's just satisfying to see a huge health bar dropping to zero with a single attack or special, eg. when dealing more than 100 damage.
Blade tome + Glimmer is a fun time. And the new Micaiah is also LOTS of fun to use.
