There are 5 Lucinas now

I don't know who this "we" is, but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree. I feel the developers are taking Awakening's success way too literally.

IS: Legendary Lucina!!

You have to consider though the popularity of the characters themselves. For example, debuting Ike as the first series character and making Female Robin a Legendary Hero (because Male Robin doesn't exist apparently). Sure there could have been more options for Legendary Heroes, but Lucina's popularity within Fire Emblem and beyond (primarily due to Smash Bros.) makes her the optimal choice for debuting new skills.

So was a Legendary Lucina inevitable? Absolutely. However, now that IS has that out of the way, more heroes can take the spotlight, probably from an older FE game since they seem to alternate more or less.

Just like Lyn previously, and now Lucina. Also I saw the trailer and there's a LOT of dislikes on the video. Haven't seen that happen since Legendary Lyn. I also feel like there are connections with these Legendary Heroes and Choose Your Legends. (Ike, Hector, Lucina, Lyn, Ephraim....) Veronica, Roy, and Celica are left.

What do you think?

I care less about the unit and more about the skills. And those skills are sexy!

First time I'm actually skipping a B8 banner because I don't care about Lucina, maybe I would try to pull Ryoma and a better Lyn, but it's a really meh need.

Also, to answer your question, that will only happen when the games or characters that made Fire Emblem mainstream popular again stop giving IS money.

Of course lucina got an Alt, honestly I look for the seasonals that are available and seeing W!Lissa, NY!Camilla, and Ishtar make me excited. Am I disappointed it wasn’t someone like Micaiah or Eliwood? Yeah. Am I surprised it was Lucina, no.
