I mean... Camilla LOST to Veronica.

A lot of units have a chance of winning CYL. I think if Intelligent Systems didn't actually show the current results during the CYL 2 event, then Camilla would've actually won, to be honest.

Umm, Alm and Marth aren't givens. There are more popular characters out there. And Camilla/Azura are...ehh. Azura isn't a very good character at all. She's bland and people simply "like" her for being a lead in Fates. With her now having 3 alts, I doubt people will vote for her. She'll probably get an alt whether you vote for her or not, so she doesn't really need it.

I just stated those because people always vote awakening/fates high even though they have some of the worst written characters in FE.
- I prefer the old games
- Imagine if Gerik or cormag from sacred stones won CYL or Lewyn or Sigurd(ALT) won CYL. That would be really interesting but they just never gather enough support unfortunately it's a shame.

...But Eirika was placed above Azura...

And Chrom was the top pick for males from Awakening/Fates, and he wasn't even in the top 5.

And let's not forget that Awakening and Fates were the starting points for a LOT of people that plays FEH, so let's not paint the community in this horrible light of "most people only like them for boobs and main character status" when THARJA came in tenth place.. She was LOWER THAN NINO! :O

Yeah I get that people only choose for what they know which would be fates/Awakening,but characters like tharja were terribly written in Awakening and so was reinhardt in thracia 776. At the end of the day it is what it is when it comes to choose your legends, newer fans outweigh the old fans when it comes to choosing. I'm just afraid that after this cyl fates/Awakening will take over but honestly you never know with "three houses" being released next year anything is possible

But why would they take over if they didn't "take over" during the CYL 1 and CYL 2?

The only Awakening character from Fates/Awakening from CYL 1 was Lucina, and literally no one from Fates/Awakening won CYL 2.

By taking over I mean placing top 20 the past two CYL and because alot of the classic lords have already been chosen but there are still alot of popular characters left in the franchise and you never can predict these things so we just wait and see.

We had all three Azura variations during CYL2 so she could still easily get a good chunk of votes. The four most likely to win are probably
B:
Robin and Alm
G:
Eirika and Camilla

Yeah, but they separate the votes. Why do you think so many people were so pissed that Marth lost?

I have zero ideas. All the people I thought would win did not win. Veronica was a huge surprise to me. I am just waiting for Lilith to arrive, Genny getting an alt, and my favorite characters not in feh yet to appear.

I think the units who will rank top see the ones popularized by FEH. People who are still playing the game are the ones voting.
